Chelsea was doing well in the market until they bought this over the hill defender

In reply to nitro
its a free transfer , nothing to lose!
In reply to mikesiva
Why arent Spurs playing the Community Shield?
In reply to camos
Oh..but they still need to pay him a weekly salary. Although he would have been a better choice for Arsenal than David Luiz. Luiz should be paying Arsenal to have him in their squad.
In reply to Halliwell
Nice to see you care so much about Spurs
We have an important fixture against Birmingham City.
Who the Manchester CHEATS playing??
In reply to mikesiva is Messi coming to the Etihad?

The club remain in talks with Arsenal for Ainsley Maitland-Niles as Nuno looks for versatile players,
In reply to Halliwell
Tottenham don't do winning trophies.
Amazon Prime even have a series of them winning nothing.
In reply to mikesiva
MikeSewer di Sewage dweller, football is not only about winning trophies, yuh Jackass!
In reply to NineMiles
Fans of football clubs who don't win trophies always say that.
Aubameyang scores 1-0
In reply to mikesiva
Does every football club win trophies.... doesn't prevent their fans from supporting them. and it's not as if Spurs have never won trophies in their glorious past.
Watch and support your team for the love of the game!
It's only glory hunters and fair-weather fans like you and Halliwell who keep bleating on about trophies.
In reply to NineMiles
Ah, so Tottenham are a football club along the lines of, say, Sheffield United. Just there to make up numbers...winning trophies is beyond you lot.
I guess supporting Arsenal, and not Tottenham, could be considered "glory-hunting" by Tottenham fans, then.
BTW, when is the last time Tottenham played in the Community Shield? How long ago was this so-called "glorious past"?
Minamino scores...1-1.
In reply to mikesiva
You are a glory-hunter.... dats a fact and just live with it, yuh arse-licker!
Had to be Auba!!!
Started and finished things
In reply to NineMiles
Football according to NineMilesofCrap
If you support Arsenal you're a glory hunter.
If you support Tottenham, you're not.
Says a lot about Tottenham supporters!
Arsenal win on penalties. Another trophy.
In reply to mikesiva
MIke,
Arsenal have now won more trophies in August 2020 than Battyham in 30+ years
In reply to Acid
Enters anoder stinking Arse-licker of the acid variety...they keep crawling out of the sewage!
In reply to NineMiles
Ninesy, to be honest Spurs has not engaged Mourinho for attractive soccer.
They want trophies, that is why they have engaged the chosen one.
Arteta is doing well with a One good player.
In reply to mike and Acid
Oh rass ah just reach
Ah was watching pouty
So Arsenal win another trophy and Spurs saying that life is not all about trophies?
They should play Sunday friendlies against Seven Sisters
WahDeAssIsDis!!?
In reply to mikesiva
The Amazon special is called All or Nothing.
No prizes for guessing which one is Spurs
In reply to Halliwell
Bruh yuh killing me
Please do Not tell untruths about Spurs
Theyve Been celebrating St Totteringham day for the past 2 years
Thats the only title thats important to them
In reply to imusic
Get it right you stuttering fool, it is called St Arses day and it has been FOUR straight seasons that Spurs have finished ahead of you Arses in the Premier League!
And yes we are happy about that. Lest you forget, you Arses finished 8th, yes 8th place in the league. Don't let a diminished FA cup disguise that fact!
The Charity shield is nothing more than a pre-season friendly....so get real ARSEHOLES!
I see you all looking forward to the Spurs Amazon series.....it starts tomorrow, enjoy it you MudderCunts!!
Tottenham HotSpur Forever!
Spurs beefing up their defence. Park the bus strategy coming up.

Winning isnt their priority
Their fans in ecstasy even from the news as evidence by above exhibit A(ss).
Thats better than a trophy.
In reply to Halliwell
Lame response....akin to your pretence as a football fan!
In reply to NineMiles
FA Cup is diminished? Since when?
In reply to JahJah
It is trust me.
Most teams don't even field their 1st XI. It is not what it used to be.
Premier League and Euro competitions takes priority...dats where the money is and teams would rather finish 4th in the PL rather than win the FA or league cups.
In reply to NineMiles
SPURS TROPHY CABINET
In reply to imusic
Arses doing what they do best
In reply to NineMiles
Best?!?
What are Spurs even good at
In reply to Halliwell
Beating Man Cheaty (tenks jahjah) and knocking your cheating skunts out of the Champions League despite your dubai oil billions!
Remember this one??
Arsenal building a Brazil squad..Edu can only sign Brazilians?
Why not some Germans, they are the best players in the world.
Link Text
In reply to imusic
Typical Tottenham argument. They'd rather come sixth in the table, and win nothing so long as they finish ahead of Arsenal.
I prefer my side winning trophies. I'd rather come eighth and win the FA cup than come sixth and win nothing.
In reply to mikesiva
Well for them, bearing Arsenal IS winning.
For decades they couldnt do it so now that they have finished ahead of Arsenal in the table the past couple seasons, thats like winning the World Cup for them.
What can I say.....theyre an ambitious bunch over there
In reply to imusic
Says the Fair-weather fan who claims he used to be a Spurs supporter!
In reply to imusic
Show me a pic of the We Beat Arsenal Trophy nah
I didnt catch a glimpse of it in the Nothing or Nuttingness episode
In reply to Halliwell
So you have been watching the All or Nothing documentary afterall. Nice!
But you probably didn't quite get it since you're not a proper footie fan, so let ExpressionsOozing explain it all to you.
This is just episode 1 with more to follow!

Now if that was a Spurs player, you ArseHoles and wannabe footie fans will be all over the story!
In reply to NineMiles
Like the article says,
Naive, unacceptable, poor judgement.
In reply to Halliwell and imusic
Good start for Arsenal. Beat Fulham 3-0.
Season off and running ...
Fulham 0-3 Arsenal
Willian involved in all 3!
Michael Hector from Jamaica played the full match for Fulham
In reply to Acid
Hector had a vital goalline clearance that prevented 4-0.
Liverpool edge Leeds 4-3 in a thriller.

That was fun. Leeds should be good to watch. They could have gotten a draw if wasn't for that pen.

I was out this evening.
Anyone watch the Tottenham Everton game? What was the result?
In reply to mikesiva
1-0 to Everton. Poch must be very hurt to see his team playing so dull and boring. The Special One is a spent force.
I understand Spurs need a trophy but their fans are not used to this park the bus culture.

Crystal Palace beat Manchester United 3-1!
Arsenal had to dig deep to edge West Ham 2-1.
In reply to mikesiva
Such a pity no crowds. The season is looking to be a great one.
Looking forward to Chelsea vs Liverpool tomorrow.
In reply to mikesiva
Everything good in that match was through Saka. The yute has to be the 2nd name on the team sheet after Aubameyang.

I agree. The pen Everton got today is nutts!

In reply to Halliwell
West Bromwich and Chelsea draw 3-3 in a crazy match.
In reply to mikesiva
Good to see the youngsters from last year Odoi and Abraham did the rescue act. Nothing against the new imports but the attack was not Chelsea's weak area last year. It was their defense including the keeper.
In reply to tops
Leeds beat Sheffield 1-0.
Newcastle and Tottenham draw 1-1.
This handball madness has to stop.it is killing the beautiful game..and may have given Ninsey a heart attack.
All you need know is try and hit a player's hand instead of shooting at goal.

Liverpool beat Arsenal 3-1.
In reply to nitro
Yep.....Because hitting the moving 3-5 inch cross section of a mans arm is easier than shooting at goal.
Great match this, City vs Leeds.
Leeds, Everton and Wolves are playing better looking soccer than the likes of Man United ad Spurs.

Chelsea go top by beating Newcastle 2-0.
Cyah tork to Ninesy now
In reply to mikesiva
Only in the VAR age can someone kick a player in the shins in the penalty box, the ref award a penalty and then over turn it because the guy got a small piece of the ball. It's ludicrous. Aston Villa need to change their kit to all-red or red-on-white or something to get the calls their way.

Not at all. Started following English soccer in the early 90s. My favorite then was Liverpool. Became a fan of the Gunners in the early 00s. I have lost my passion for the club but i am still hoping they will return to greatness.
With Man U, i think Fergie is the greatest manager ever and i love how black players have become a major part of the team now. I have tried to cheer them on but i just cannot.
In reply to Maispwi
Don't worry about me mate, I'm just fine!
Been out of town for a couple days and just got back this evening.
Time for Mourinho to re-evaluate and come up with better tactics.
Oh and MikeSewer can't talk shit to me cos he fighting a relegation battle!
In reply to NineMiles
With the wealth of attacking talent Mourinho has at his disposal, he shudn be allowing his team to have to chase games. And you need to get something to curb Aurier's rushes of blood although he had been doing well this season
VAR remains a big heap of horse dung and it's past time for its only use to be in goal line tech.
In reply to NineMiles
Funny how Tottenham fans are obsessed with watching Arsenal TV. Wha' 'appen? You don't have any Tottenham TV or what?
As an Arsenal fan, I wouldn't be caught dead watching Tottenham TV. I'd rather watch paint dry, or Kraigg Brathwaite bat, than watch Tottenham TV, if it exists. But you Spurs fans can't help but judge yourselves by Arsenal, eh?
Tottenham love to park the bus and play boring football. Watching a Spurs match is a good cure for insomnia!
Chelsea and the two Manchester teams both won. Who will challenge Liverpool?
In reply to mikesiva
The reason why we watch Arse fan TV is to laugh at you JOKERS, but you are too stupid to see that!
There are several Spurs Fan channels on youtube and the difference is we are far more civilised than you ARSEHOLES!
We don't continually attack our manager and players for every mistake to the same extent as you LOUDMOUT JOKERS.
We may be playing boring football for now but guess what, we are 11 points ahead of you and have scored 25 goals compared to your 12. What does that say about your SHITE team then, Einstein??
And you have the cheek to diss my team when your team are currently in a relegation battle. What a JACKASS you are!
You are so facking clueless about football. Just stick netball will ya!
Wouldn't want an idiot like you watching Spurs fan channels anyway but as you are an ignorant JACKASS, here are but a few of Spurs fan channels around;

Kick and chase win a point against John B team
Saka (collected that ball inside his half) to Laca
Brighton 0-1 Arsenal
Last play of the game, WHU have a free kick and choose to kick the ball around in midfield than kick it into the box where half their team is standing....wow.

What are your thoughts on the Leeds manager's style?
In reply to nitro
love his style! Think he is Pep's mentor.
In reply to camos
It is exciting but seems suicidal when he plays the big sides.
In reply to nitro
All of his teams play the same way. Chile, Bilbao, Marseille, Lazio, Leeds
Constant motion. Supremely fit players. Intense pressing game. Keep the ball on the ground
But his press is so intense, thats why they leak so many goals. Often getting caught breaking their press. Entertaining team though.
BTW.....Tierney is a real find for Arsenal. One of the best crossers of the ball Ive seen this season on any team. And plenty engine.
I like Smith Rowe and Saka too.
In reply to imusic
Tierney shocked me. He looked ordinary when he just arrived but he has improved in confidence it appears.
Saka is a gem who like Raheem Sterling will get even better when he learns to make better decisions.
In reply to camos
I love Bielsa's style too! We have to look at Leeds in the context of the other two sides that were just promoted from the Championship - West Brom and Fulham.
It's safe to say that Leeds are outperforming both fellow promoted teams, with a lot of little-known players. Nuff respect, Marcelo!
Southampton beat Liverpool 1-0...the race is becoming interesting.

Manchester City beat Aston Villa 2-0. Tryangle will be pleased about the decisions.
I haven't seen the match, only followed some of the commentary.
But it looks like once again VAR or the lack thereof or a referee's questionable decisions are biting Villa in the rear (esp against "big" teams). But, we move. It's nice to have Villa not considered a weak team anymore, at least. *shrug*
In reply to bdaTryangle
was a clear goal my friend!
In reply to camos
Could very well be, although it looks like Dean Smith strongly disagrees. It sucks nonetheless to give the big teams good games only to come away empty handed. Hoping they bounce back against a Newcastle side that seems to be really out-of-sorts.

Wolves is a good sleeper team that is extremely well coached. And they have some Portuguese there that wicked. And when the Mexican come back, theyll be even more dangerous
BTW......Burnley since December, have beaten Arsenal, Wolves, Liverpool (at Anfield), and now Villa. Theyre doing very well.

I've watched Bale in the FA cup and the Europa League, and he looks a shadow of the player he once was. I doubt Mourinho will extend his loan this summer, unless Bale improves significantly between now and then.
Bergwijn has taken his place in the Tottenham XI against strong teams.
It doesn't matter. Liverpool crush Tottenham 3-1.
The Special one is Spanked!
Everton lose to Newcastle 0-2.
Still a mid-table team.
Reggae Boy Bobby Reid scores for Fullham.

Another three points for Manchester City.

In reply to Ayenmolstick to the "football" you follow!
In reply to camos
Apparently many sports can be "followed" simultaneously.....who knew.
Liverpool, Manure, Chelsea and Man City have, on paper, similar strength squads.
Pep and Klopp are just better managers.
In reply to nitro
Pool does not have depth, starting 11 is fantastic but they can't afford anyone missing, look how they missing Van in defense and his 6 goals from corners.
In reply to camos
IMHO, Manchester City have more squad depth than the other top teams.
Watch out for Aston Villa! They beat Southampton 1-0. Tryangle should be a bit more pleased with the officiating.
In reply to camos
Ignore him. Ah ratings him ah look.
In reply to camos
City missing key players as well and struggle to score without Aguero.
They might have an edge in squad depth.
Also Liverpool missing almost their defensive line up and still have quality to play.
I think the big four are quite even.
In reply to mikesiva
LOL, finally VAR in our favour this season. Getting closer to clinching safety.
In reply to Tryangle
Chelsea back to winning ways.
Leeds beat Leicester 3-1!
Liverpool back to their brilliant best thrashing West Ham United 3-1.
Brighton beat Tottenham 1-0. Sweet! Bale started but he was so poor he was subbed at the one hour mark.

Manchester United 41
Liverpool 40

A huge win for ManU, Lady Jah Jah will be unbearable for the rest of the season
United are looking really good their squad looks formidable
I am yet to be convinced by Arteta ball the recent upturn was forced on him, he was very average as a player and now he is riding on the back of Peps coat tails

Liverpool missing their real leader.

Virgil badly missed again. Leicester win 3-1.
Nice to see Arséne Wenger as a comments man on BeIn for the match
Allison and that center back was really bad for that 2nd goal
In reply to mikesiva
Yeah. Henderson was never the real leader of this team.
Allison seems to panic with this weak defense.
Come on City, anybody but Manure!

Match ball for Auba.
One thing about Leeds is they they always keep going
In reply to Acid
Leeds lose too many matches
Pretty is one thing but jeez what is the target here??
Is not like if they keep going like this that theyd win in 22 or 23
Great game.
Leeds need better players to make this approach sustainable.
Lovely to see though. Bielsa could succeed Pep at City.
Brilliant City. They are like Leeds but with better quality players.
In reply to nitro they are a pleasure to watch especially if you are a fan - their ball possession/control must be extremely annoying to opposition players

Everyone here ignored my views on that.

you are special!
In reply to camos
One guy missing makes the sky fall but 3 or 4 guys missing shouldn't be an issue.
You gotta love that guy's logic.
Nevermind that. He was chatting something similar to 'Wait until Liverpool catch Man City and duss dem and reduce the points difference!'
And how ManCity was going to lose all sort of lower sides and fall back into the crowd or worse.
In reply to camos Pep Guardiola pisses me off a lot, but his soccer style is a pleasure to behold. Sometimes his playing 11 seem retarded ---- but when he fields the right 11, WOW! Mahrez is not a fave of mine, but I have to agree that shot had some venom on it it was special

In reply to mikesiva
Spurs been green with envy of Arsenal for decades so its no surprise that they top the table in this category
In reply to mikesiva
Leicester's clearly a good squad and I don't see them stumbling at the death when a CL spot's on the line in consecutive years.
Villa had a chance to prove they're not a one-man team but flattered to deceive (although missing Matty Cash was also a big deal). Barkley needs to hold some bench.
Impressed by the Hammers though. They have had a great season to date. Best team in London?
I think Klopp will be the next Real Madrid manager.
In reply to bdaTryangle
Aston Villa badly missed the injured Grealish.
The Manchester City juggernaut keeps rolling on. West Ham United beaten 2-1.
Aston Villa beat Leeds 1-0. El Ghazi gets revenge?

Liverpool beat Sheffield 2-0. Back to winning ways?

Burnley vs Leicester 1-1
Crystal Palace vs Manchester United 0-0
Rotten season for Liverpool. Did dey get de seal of doom from Softy, ah mean Molly?

Meanwhile City juggernaut keeps rolling on
In reply to Maispwi
When I made the point that I don't think this Liverpool team is great bcs they depend on goals coming only from the front 3, posters indicated that me mad, that I'm discounting what the front 3 R doing.
I always rate a team when goals coming from all areas of the field.
Look at mancity...Need I say more?
Having said that, my gut is telling me that Liverpool will win the CL.
In reply to tops
I can only see dem winning de Champions league if dey mek de final.
Cud we be seeing de end of Klopp in England?
In reply to Maispwi
Check my earlier post about my prediction Klopp being the next Real Madrid manager.
In reply to tops
Topsie, apart from Messi and the biteman who was scoring most of Barca goals. With Liverpool others scored goals last year but having to put your midfielders back since missing 4 or 5 first team defenders stiffles creativity.
They will be alright next year. BTW tell me if you agree Salah has killed many an attack with his poor passes. Or is it only me seeing him as a poor passer.

Arsenal and Burnley draw 1-1.
In reply to Maispwi
I tell you. I never see so much foolishness.
They are soo idiotic with their down to the letter decision making....that Fulham goal should have been allowed....and will be next year.
Really should have been this year if these people had basic common sense.
All the nonsense they do with the lines for outsides....they make it seem like it's a computer program....it's not ... just a guy moving around lines that are subject to his own depth perception. Marking people offsides based on boot tip and fingers...
Why are guys offsides based on their arm position? You do not play with your arms...
Also, a player can be out of bounds and play the ball....because it is the ball not the man
...but the man is offsides where there is no lines based on the position of his extremities?
As long as a part of the man's body, or even his torso is in line with the defender, he should be on.....these Soccer people are trying too hard to make this more difficult than it needs to be....not enough happens in this Sport to be so pedantic.

City cannot lose it from here, can they?
In reply to mikesiva As Pep intimated probably was a productive teaching loss for City I concur --- however time for Pep to understand that Jesus is not playing intelligently, his contributions are minimal. Bernado Silva, Foden, even Ferran Torres playing better than Jesus right now. That foul on Anthony Martial was brain dead and its not a one-of for Jesus
In reply to birdseye
probably thought it was too early for the ref to call it!
In reply to birdseye
Manchester City back to winning ways. Your prayers about Jesus were answered.
SIX wins from a third title in four seasons.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles played the full match for West Brom
In reply to Acid
Will Ainsley Maitland-Niles be back at Arsenal next season?
In reply to nitro
When you send someone on loan you want to give them more game time thats why you traditionally want to send them to a team 15th spot and lower as those teams normally can guarantee you that.
Niles usually plays in the full back positions. Tierney has the left Back spot locked down. The right was Bellerin but now Chambers has put in some top shifts. I am seeing the reason he was sent on loan was to get more game time to solidify that spot as a backup however Allardyce played him left midfield today.
COVID is going to play a part. Depending if Arteta can buy a backup with funds available (the #1 priority is to get Ødegaard) a decision will be made.
Honestly I dont see him as a starting player - at best he will be a squad player with most of his play time coming from the domestic cups, injury to the main players, and the odd 85th min sub to burn the clock
In reply to Acid
Fernandino is a mixed bag for City. If he continues to be this inconsistent it is difficult for them to beat the likes of Bayern and PSG.

In reply to mikesiva Interesting how Man United couldnt find a place for Jesse Lingard and he is so productive for West Ham and seem to be really enjoying his soccer with two goals today
In reply to birdseye
Lingard has been exceptional considering how much time he spent on the bench. Bale take note.
Manchester United beat Tottenham 3-1.
In reply to mikesiva
Well Mourinho and Spurs lost so not too bad a feeling. Deep down i really want Pogba, Greenwood and Rashford to do well...they just with the wrong team

Twelve of Europe's top clubs announced on Sunday they were launching a breakaway Super League, headed by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
AC Milan, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, Internazionale, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur have all joined as founding clubs, the statements added.
As part of the move, the clubs included would withdraw from the European Club Association and games would be played in the middle of the week, with the Super League governed by the founding clubs, the club statements indicated.
FIFA and UEFA are livid
In reply to Acid
I don't like it.
Leeds United play to a 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
At this rate, the only way Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are going to get back into Europe is by this unfair guarantee.
In reply to mikesiva
I don't like it but the owners do have a point if as they say the earnings from the UCL is not making the clubs sustainable.
In reply to mikesiva
Arsenal becomes one of the 1st teams to separate from the Super League
As a result of listening to you and the wider football community over recent days we are withdrawing from the proposed Super League. We made a mistake, and we apologise for it.
In reply to Acid
Good!
If rich clubs say earnings are not enough then they need to spend less.
All six English teams have now pulled out.
Chelsea and Brighton play to a goalless draw. Once again showing the Big Six aren't all that.
In reply to mikesiva
The price for "top" players are crazy.
In reply to nitro
If you can't compete with the deep pockets of Manchester City, then spend judiciously. Bayern Munich don't have the financial resources of Manchester City, yet they won the Champions League last season. Munich are 50% owned by fans.
Manchester City and Tottenham had 2-1 wins yesterday. Sets it up well for the League Cup final on Sunday.
In reply to mikesiva
I did not know that. That is brilliant and make me respect them even more.
In reply to nitro
Agreed! Apparently, all German clubs are at least 50% owned by fans. That's a better ownership model.
Leicester beat West Bromwich 3-0 to edge closer to a well deserved Champions league place. This is a team the European Super League wanted to exclude.

Manchester United vs Liverpool delayed due to fans invading the pitch to protest against the Glazers.
In reply to mikesiva
Nice win by the gunners.
Stupid protest by Manu Fans to invade the pitch.
In reply to nitro
Isnt that what English football fans do?
In reply to birdseye and nitro
I have no problem with fans invading the stadium and the pitch, if that's the only way to achieve change. Many fans are demanding a switch to the German model of 50%+1. This is a way for them to get their voices heard.
Will the greedy people who run English football listen? Probably not. But you have to stand up for what you believe in and demand to be heard. That's what these fans are doing.
And this is not just about Manchester United fans. Football fans from all the major clubs are supporting this action.
In reply to mikesiva
In reply to birdseye
The clubs pretending that the Leadership is a separate part of the club than the coach and players is dishonest.
They always declare one club one voice.
This is their ploy to win back the fans. Even Pep, even Klopp would have played the Super League.
Am mot going to make this long....i do not like greed.
It is one thing when greedy Corporations take away the livelihood of others to put a few extra dollars in their pocket....
This is Sports and Entertainment.
While am not sure if this Super League was the answer, am flabbergasted at the opinion of people here....not that you all ever are on the right side of any issue.
This is not unlike the maga movement and Brexit.....English people trying to keep out non English from a Sport and League they believe is their own.
Simple as that.
Before these wealthy owners England probably had one European powerhouse, Liverpool. The top stars played in either Italy or Spain.
People tend to hate wealth and see business model change as owners being greedy. This is a time of rapid change. Many institutions have to bring forward plans they had for the coming years to the now. Nobody is talking about the billions these guys invest and could lose unless they change their business model.
What would have been different had this League or any other League that may arise in the future.....what would change?
They would play in the same Stadiums....same fans in attendance. Same player pool....same Organization within each club....same game.
What would change is the English pride, the Racial and cultural pride that is dominant/prevalant in that this League is of them by them and for them and represents the best of the best.
As a fan you get the top clubs in the area in one league so all the best players would be in one League to be enjoyed.....what else is of priority to Sports fans?
Of what real value is the owner of the team to the enjoyment of the fan outside of his ability to keep the team competitive?
Anything else is prejudice disguised as culture.
They hold the same attitude as more and more black players replace whites.
If they get this victory it will just get worse.
In reply to nitro
Remember that Munich won the Champions league last season. With 50%+1 fan ownership.
It's not all about getting a wealthy sugar daddy.
Newcastle beat Tottenham 4-2!
In reply to mikesiva
I am speaking strictly about the English Mike.
It is the rich owners that brought better much better managers, coaches and players to the English game. This resulted in big money from TV rights which has benefitted all the clubs.
This has developed much better English players which the English hooligans have apparently failed to notice.
In reply to mikesiva
"Newcastle beat Tottenham 4-2!"
U dreaming Mike, wake up. 😁
In reply to tops and nitro
Newcastle beat Leicester 4-2.
Leeds beat Tottenham 3-1.
These rich sugar daddies have also hiked ticket prices beyond the reach of many English people. No wonder they've alienated many fans. I would not pay money to go to an English Premier league match now. It's not value for money.
The German model works. It can also work in England.
Looking forward to City Vs Chelsea @ 12:30 should be an interesting match a prelude to the championship match 3 weeks time --- City better be alert at the start they dont want to fall behind early like the last match and let Chelsea just park on their back-line the rest of the match

Sad but not too sad Arsenal misses out. The pressure will be on to quit buying over the hill good players and cheap hafl good players. Time to start building a great squad Kroenke.
In reply to nitro
Mane looks like he lost confidence in his finishing. Has been passing up on shots. Happy he scored today. Players deserve a rest after this hard year.
Hard luck for Leicester, they spent the most time in the top 4 this year.
In reply to Trinity
Wonder how Leicester fans view their season? Winning silverware but getting nipped for a CL spot (again)? I imagine they'd still see it as a success?
In reply to Tryangle
I would think Leicester would consider this a success - they qualified for Europa League (though winning the FA Cup - regardless of their league spot) but it would have hurt seeing that at half time on the final day they had the advantage for Champions League.
Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa would have felt disappointed.
West Ham though will be in the Europa League so very good based on where they were last year but for a good portion of the season they were in Champions League zone.
Everton and Aston Villa would be highly disappointed. They were flying at the start of the year only for Liverpool and Everton to switch spots. Same thing for Aston Villa who beat Liverpool 7-2 only to finish in the bottom half
