This is my team of the CPL. Batsmen need to score over 200 runs, at an average of over 30, and a strike rate of over 115. Bowlers need to take over 10 wickets, at an average of under 20, and an economy rate of less than eight.

Unfortunately Pooran was inconsistent. He averaged less than 30 this season.
That's an area where he has room for improvement.

Otherwise, he had a pretty poor CPL.
But those 2 innings were massive......especially in the final
I wouldn’t pick him in my CPL XI
I wouldn’t have Emrit either. Chase probably deserved it more.

Normally you would be right. But selection is based on performance in the tournament.
Dre Russ was rightfully not selected on that point
