Just taking a little break but family and I are well.
Toronto on lock down again from midnight tonite
Not that it would affect me at all at this time
At home we have been practicing lock down for 8 months now

I have been teaching from home through Zoom..I tell you....much much harder than classroom interaxtionwink
Whereas classroom sessions energize me....zoom sessions completely drain me

We've had snow for sometime, forecast today is for a high of 7C.
I am praying for a Chinook.
Stay safe bro, I've already told my family, we are staying home this Christmas.

Wife is a HS teacher, Grades 11 & 12z. Her school district is in Google classroom so they have access to the full suite of Google products....Google Meet, Jamboard, etc. Works REALLY WELL for them. They were setup before Covid so the transition to online learning was pretty seamless for them.

Other school districts not as fortunate. They have a variety of tools....Zoom, Teams, WebEx etc. Sometimes within the same school....so Grade 12 class using Zoom and Grafe 11 class using Teams. That’s a mess

Students like it as they don’t have to be up at 7am or before to be at school at 8. They can also work at their pace. Many students say they’re most productive at night and not first thing in the morning.

Anyway, stay safe.

I use mostly Blackboard and assignments. I am lucky that I can do that with Finance. But I do get a lot of emails with questions.
