Barbados questioned: CDC gives Level 4 warning to some CARICOM states.

Antigua and Barbuda is questioning the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) Level 4 COVID-19 High-Level risk assessment for some CARICOM member states when others, namely Barbados and St Lucia are only considered Level 2.

The lack of political will in CARICOM to agree to common COVID-19 protocol standards is perhaps the biggest failure of this pandemic, said Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism.

CDC’s Level 4 denotes High Risks, whereas Level 2 denotes Moderate Risks.
