If one examines his dismissals in the just concluded ODI series and the last two T-20's vs SL you would see the manner in which he get out is unacceptable for an international player
He always gets starts and he does so quickly, but just as quickly he gets out usally by ordinary balls playing the wrong or inpatient shots.
I hope they can correct his batting because one of the openers need to bat for 10 overs or else one of Simmons, Gayle and Lewis must go, plying all 3 at the same time is ultra high risk as proven last night, the team needs a number 3 batter that can stick around, rotate strike and anchor the innings around the power hitters.

If Lewis hits straight(in the V) he will score loads of runs. He has such quick hands. It's when he tries to slog across the line as you say "cowlash" he gets in trouble or very often gets out. Bishop had spoken to him in the past about playing straight following which he had a very good year. A bit of the bad habit may have returned. Hety has the same problem and Ponting has worked with him to correct it.
