How come Shiv missed out on this series?

Ryan Austin bowl 4 overs for 41 runs and Nagas bowl 1 over for 3 runs.

Also, Ramnnarine played as a specialist fielder

Shiv would have been a tremendous asset to this weak Legends batting lineup

After Benn bowled his first over...a wicket maiden ...Lara released the pressure when he introduced Sanford instead of Nagas or Austin.

Again at the death he introduced Sanford leaving an accomplished T20 death bowler in Dwayne Smith.....accuracy was the key here as Tono Best showed.


I see a trend here activated by Lara although it was a fun game...WI captains don’t know their players skills

Shiv played in inaugural series in 2020 and he is currently in Antigua. Several players have been replaced this year. I guess it gives everyone an opportunity to feature.

They replaced Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Darren Ganga, Ricardo Powell, Samuel Badree, and Danza Hyatt, who were part of the squad initially in 2020
