Turning to left, then to off, straight on, uneven bounce and straight on with a quicker pace on the ball ( the flipper)...just asking.

The 'Merlyn' machine had settings that could change the flight and the amount of spin on the ball and that's going back 10-15 years.

I could just see the future headline as we usher in the Artificial Intelligence age:

"Spinner Google Googley, a bowling machine that spins, makes WI test team final 11".

So you can't play spin eh

watching these guys bat they don't milk the spinner, they try to kill the spinner. Kill or be killed and most of the time they are the ones with the death certificate.

Dude the machine can do almost anything you want it to do, all you need to do is be resourceful.

See if you understand this

You got that right in just one line.In years gone by batsmen played spin so much better, and don't anybody come tell me there wasn't great spinners then.If you did notice, the batsmen who stood up and batted at least for some time, they in fact showed the top order how to do it.

imagine, to just bat and see off a top spinner isn't in their arsenal. they just block and hit out and the spinner is saying' it's Russian roulette time. soon and very soon...he's mine.
