Virat Kohli - Third best Captain in History
India's youngsters, first spotted by Rahul Dravid at the National Cricket Academy, and polished through under-19 and 'A' tours, were ready for Test cricket.

Kohli equaled Lloyd with 36 wins..Lloyd needed 72 tests while Kohli got there in 60..

His bad behaviour arguing with an umpire spoiled it fuh me though....not good for fans of the game. Arrogant man got away with it too. A disgrace.
In reply to TEMPER
Viv intimidated umpires and beat up journalists.Lloyd remained a mute spectator when Colin Croft was running into Fred Goodall..Joe Root and many English players intimidated umpires in this series..
Success does not mean best. You, Sir, are an imperialist....our people have always subjugated others...
Imperialism is a policy or ideology of extending the rule over peoples and other countries, for extending political and economic access, power and control, often through employing hard power, especially military force, but also soft power
In reply to Barry
What has this got to do with cricket fool..have you been on the weed again...repeat...Kolis behaviour was a disgrace not seen in recent times....and call himself "captain".
In reply to Khaga
Not discussing Viv..
Viv was a different era...read my text...said IN RECENT TIMES.
In reply to TEMPER
I laid it all out..you have no balls to talk about Joe? If you don't want to discuss Viv,Lloyd and Joe,shows you are based..
this is one that I believe has more to do with the team rather than the captaincy. Never really seen any brilliance as a captain from Kohli
In reply to TEMPER
That is a usual characteristic of successful leaders in all facet of life.
Their passion for success sometimes get to them.
In reply to Khaga
Stop embarassing yourself...i have no racial/colour basis with regards to discussions about cricket. What am really concerned about is THE INTEGRITY OF THE GAME . umpires make mistakes...over time mistakes against you and in favour of you cancell each other out...dont recall Viv Richards running to the umpire and arguing about a decision not in your favour...Kohli needs to grow up.. still time fuh the young man to GROW UP.am pleased india won by the way...clearly the better bowling attack.
In reply to TEMPER
As long as you don't speak about Joe (Viv and Lloyd), you shall be deemed biased..
In reply to TEMPER
Dont beat up on Barry/problemjay to much, we need some insanity on the site.
This India team reminds me of those two Australia sides.
Experienced side at the top of there game with younger players being added here and there. This team is going to be very hard to beat in a series over the next 18-24 months.

No tactical brilliance needed..Virat built a team with intensity and sense of purpose..the system builds technical and tactical nous..
Was Lloyd a brilliant tactician? He was seen as a good leader who moulded a team of individuals who were outrageously talented..
In reply to TEMPER
Fat boy, dont speak to me through temper
In reply to sgtdjones
Again problemjay is you- an ode to the time you had when you bulled Jadee.... who is TEMPER... you have any extra handle to give me?
In reply to Khaga
Kohli has neutral upms and reviews, probably more home games also.
In reply to camos
Alright..I give 20% tip to Lloyd..
In reply to camos
So his opponents don't have those? I thought the playing field was level ...
In reply to camosWe didn't need reviews when we were the bosses of cricket,we had "Four prong".
In reply to Kay
I am talking about Kohli v Lloyd, not Kholi v his opponents, see the difference?
