What a rass riddim! Two or three of the blog comments say it is Uton. Do you know this independently? That he dabbled is new to me. In about '77-'78 I saw him on my uni's campus. Said he was exploring the possibility of attending. Rounded up some fellow Caribbean students and took him out for pizza. I'll never forget how when the pie arrived he gave out "A da sinting yah-- no sah! Me no eat dat!" We had to order something else for him. LOL.

It's him man - he read for a Certificate in Management Studies at UWI and we used to tease him about Da Bumb!

I remember when that tune was done. Do you know Dowe was the first to play a reverse shot?
In FC cricket he would do a 'reverse leg-glance' through 1st slip for 4 off spinners. There was
a joke in JA that he lost form and ability after going to B'dos to be trained by both Sir Wes n Big Griff.
No one can explain what happened. He should've been persisted with a little longer.
In reply to JayMor
With a Dad like Bankie he is in a different class
In reply to Brerzerk
Yes, Omari had an 'unfair' advantage. LOL. I never got to see Bankie Banx. Man was good, I know.
I got the feeling that Uton is who gave up on cricket. His personality and the then WICBC wouldn't 'gree at all.
