In reading the posts on the linked thread, I noticed where people are (effectively) wondering why anyone would want to leave a 'paradise' like Jamaica and risk lives to get to the US.
That takes me back years, when I used to wonder the same thing whenever I meet up on a Trini in the US. How could they leave such a rich and prosperous island paradise like T&T to live in this (US) land of racists and bigots.
Based on current developments, the Trinis might be next.

the moment i looked at the guy doing the interview, i figured something was off. he looked about 50, and had on a nice ralph lauren shirt. i expect stowaways to be 25 and wearing Arrow shirts.
