A very poor squad ??
Why is Walsh , McCoy ,Hetty and Pooran not included
Gabriel and Bravo dropped ( so do not take Harper’s excuses)
No vision ,no planning ahead .
Harper one of the poorest Chairman of selectors ever ???
He seems to have something against Guyanese players .
Just imagine only 4 Guyanese in the 56 players called for the U19 trials .
Did Roger really attended QC?

You have the same mindset as Harper.
One can argue Permaul should be in the squad, but to add Mccoy, Hetty, Walsh and Pooran who has not played a long format game in Sometime?
Dude enjoy the T20 format, see how many sixes the batsman hit.

You are way to logical. After all, bowling four overs in a T20 is the equivalent of 20 overs or more in one day's play of a five day Test match.

Take a break, learn the nuisances of the game, especially the difference between the formats.

When you return and are hopefully more informed, pen me a report of no more than one hundred words as to why you were so predisposed to ridiculous statements.

He may be the worst but if you got the job you would break his record.

I can agree on Hetty if he had been playing red ball cricket recently but what have Walsh and McCoy ever done in red ball cricket. They dont even have 50 over cricket credentials. Slower balls and long hops are not as effective in getting people out in longer form of the game.

I suspect Pooran could do a job but where's the evidence. At least let him turn out in the PCL first

I agree ... he will soon learn that the T20 format is a real nuisance smile

I know you're right but what about picking players in form who've been playing especially during these bubble life times!!!

Also what about entertainment value??? I'm sure the world would much rather watch Hetmyer & Pooran bat vs. Bonner & Kyle Mayers!!!

The wI management team publicly stated that Pooran would audition for test cricket in the FC matches arranged for West Indies A that occurred at the same time as the WI vs NZ in NZ test matches.

While he didn’t set the world on fire in those 2 matches, he did average 44.00 from 4 innings with a total of 176 runs.

The point being, he didn’t fail in his audition. He had a very respectable average, and still hasn’t had a look in, even as a squad member in best vs best.

He performed in red ball cricket when given the opportunity and nothing happened from the selectors.
