The UAE/Oman didnt need these guys to quarantine for a bit? Wow

Fully vaccinated dont need to quarantine?
Just like travelers to many destinations elsewhere. Why should cricketers be any different?

Ahhh ok thanks
I wasnt aware that the UAE went to that model already
Backward UK only now changing

They arrived from a very secure bubble at the CPL - having returned 2 negative tests before getting on a private charter.
The IPL reached agreement with the host country on these conditions being met to allow them to start playing cricket from today.
And we're well represented by the Big Dawg and Pouty, pitted against each other.

Thats fine administratively and thank you for the explanation. It is honestly appreciated.
Now, I assume these players will be put in the famous bubble again, once in the UAE and Oman.
They did not travel in a bubble though, or get transferred in a bubble, or were in transit bubbles, so from a medical point of view, these arrangements are window dressing to facilitate business. It is quite possible to receive an infective dose while in transit. That was/still is the relevance of quarantining new arrivals.
But I understand fully that business must be done.

Youre making an assumption that testing isnt done on arrival in UAE &/or entering the IPL bubble
Here comes AB.
RCB: 66-6 after 13.
Need more evidence of a cursed franchise?

Testing is done every three days even when youre in a countrys quarantine!
Thats how the virus works
Expediency BCCI style
RCB probably had Covid if big bats ABD and Koli couldnt make
