Thanks to ALL in this Forum for Their
Salutations . This has been a very
trying Year for the People of
St. Vincent and the Grenadines .

First was the Eruption of La Soufriere , and its Ashes that blanketed most of the Towns on the Northern Part of the Island .

Then there was Hurricane Elsa ,with
Wind and Rain , also flooding the
the areas hit by the Volcano , spawning Lahars that came from the
Volcano .

Amid all of the above, there is the Covid 19 Pandemic , where Nurses decided not to wear masks .

Worse yet the Opposition Party decided
to exploit the Pandemic , by urging
People not to take the vaccine , nor
wear Masks .

Amid the gloom however , Virgin Atlantic made its maiden trip to
The Argyle International Airport .

The fact that it is a non Permanent
member of the United Nations Security
Council has made it possible to get a
lot of Support Financially as well as Goods from many Countries.

It is sad to hear People on their death
beds telling their Families to take the
vaccine , and wear Masks . While the
Opposition Party and its Supporters
are encouraging People not to take
the Vaccine , and not to wear Masks .

I am aghast at the fact that the Nurses do not want to wear Masks .
Imagine My 4 years old Grandson , has
no problems wearing his masks .

No Problem , thank You for your kind
words . The Natural Disasters , have
gone , however it will take some years
to be fully recovered .

The Grenadines which is made up of
4 Islands that are inhabited , then there are uninhabited Cays , and also
Rocks .

There are also Sandbars , Mopion is one of the Sandbars that has a
thatched Umbrella at its center .
However at high tide it is underwater.

There is also Petite St. Vincent , which was bought from a family in
Petite Martinique . It is near to Union Island , and is owned by an
American ; who has Guest Houses on
the Island .

" Pirates of the Caribbean " was filmed in the Grenadines . Grenada
also has some of its Grenadines ,
the largest is Carriacou , also Petite Martinique .

One of the important things that Ralph
did when his Party first won the
the General Elections , was to ensure
that many more Students went not only
to Secondary Schools . But also to
Colleges .

It is my understanding that in the
various UWI Campuses in the Region ,
after Students in the Host Countries , Vincentians are the most Students.

I once met a Guy , and his Sister ,
at a Funeral , They went to
Colleges , never mind the fact that
their mother used to sell Snow Cones
in the Market .

The fact is that when People come out of Colleges , they send Remittances back to their Families . This obviously helps the Economy of SVG .
