Now this is a classic!
Nuff Jamaicans have told me over the years that this song is why they returned home

One of Jamaica's best songwriter/composer. Blessed to enjoy his works both recorded and live. Not too rusty an actor either.

Love it! This was the song that converted the Students Union at Mona from Calypso to Rock Steady in 1968.

Love Bob Andy!

There's a later version of this song that I like, forgot who sung it.

Yes indeed! Studio One in full force! I'm almost sure this was the Soul Vendors era. (Correct me if I'm wrong Ewie or Hubie: the Soul Brothers was earlier and the Sound Dimension was later.)

This tune was an anthem not just in England but in Ja too. Well into the 1970's it was still a party favourite.

And this song was doubly enhanced by the great Bunny Wailer in the background, singing some ethereal harmony. Sad that both Bob Andy an Bunny Wailer should have passed in the same year.

Sad indeed - back in the day there was genuine harmony among our musicians
