Why do they keep calling it the Arbery trial? Put those killers' names front and center.
The trial of McMichael and Bryan is what everybody should be calling it, especially the media.

The old Southern system does not like disruptions to their games, that's why they are protesting to the presence of Al Sharpton. These are the same lawyers who said during the jury selection process, that there was not enough " Bubbas " in the jury pool, but they still selected 15 whites out of the 16 selected jurors and the alternates that could be selected.

BTW ... Jesse Jackson was never in the courtroom. He may be referring to attorney Ben Crump, who was in court earlier in the week.
Imagine, all these years of Civil Rights agitation and this lawyer doesn't know Jesse Jackson. I could understand not knowing Crump, as he's more recently on the scene, but not to know Jesse Jackson is unbelievable, except "Jesse Jackson", in his Southern mind, means trouble, like all these collective "Black Pastors".

That's not what I am saying. Compared to Jesse Jackson, an MLK protege and a candidate for his party presidential nomination, Crump is relatively new on the scene.
This lawyer should know who Jesse Jackson is. He looks like someone who has been around the bend more than a few times Not to know one Black person from another is a common attribute of many Whites, even if they are two colleagues in the workplace, they would often confuse one for the other - misidentification.
Oftentimes, Whites don't see Blacks individuals as separate entities, so this is just another example on a more national scale.

You don't get to seat an almost entirely white jury then bitch about the impact of race on the trial. The impact of race is ENTIRELY in the defense's favor if they can pretend to feel threatened by seventy year old pastors.
