Sri Lanka pacers are much faster than ours

Ha yeah right. We have pacers yes but can they find the stumps?
I have never seen a bunch of bowlers that cannot bowl a yorker nor stay on off stump for an over.
Our bowlers know short and wide. That's it.

We dont have attacking spinners in Cornwall, Warrican and Permaul.

Lankan spinners will be attacking

Hasaranga in the Lankan lineup may prove detrimental to our batting efforts.

I suppose Paint is saying that we will play our strongest team and our seamers are better than our spinners. I would have gone with Holder plus 2 for seam and Chase plus 1 for spin. If Mayers makes the final 11 ahead of Hope, then we have the extra seamer with Paint to buy a wicket. I see:

I just realised that Holder isn't in the team. Unless he didn't make himself available, how do you leave out one of the best allrounders in the world?

then why take three ordinary spinners in the first place does the captain have any input on team selection because his view seems not to be on the same page as harper.

If that’s true…….

No outcry from fans on this message board when Holder, recently ICC ranked #1 test allrounder, isn’t selected for the WI test squad against Sri Lanka

But near riot and vitriol on this message board when he wasn’t selected to the original T20 World Cup squad

Yet many of those cow bawlers insist test cricket is the highest form of the game and T20 is “not cricket”
