This coaching staff is clueless, how can you leave out your number one fast bowler.
There is no way Gabriel should play ahead of a fit Roach.

That is becoming more and more obvious. Wasn't Roach and Seales our most effective fast bowling combination in the last series?

I assumed Roach was ill. No logical person would have excluded Roach from a starting test 11.

Simmo and company in defense mode.

They don't like the moniker Bajans and Friends, so they're spreading the picks evenly across the islands.

Sorry that Roach is a casualty.

What about Seales? Everyone knows by now that Gabriel doesn't take wickets while Seales has shown that he is a wicket taker. These people don't seem to pick teams to win matches.

Guys? There is no rhyme or reason why they should drop Roach and Seales unless they both came down with COVID-19 at the same time, none whatsoever.

The WI Org said last year they are keeping Roach for the test to prolong his career. They reneged on their promise. Coach Simmons and Eswick have to go. They are both untrustworthy, along with the selection panel.

It seems Kraigg had no say in the matter; he has been bush-whacked. If he did, he would have never done that to his trusted top bowler.

Some illogical people said Roach does not do well in Sri Lanka; I say poppycock. Go and take a look at his away stats vs Sri Lanka and compare it to Gabriel's.
Gabriel just came off an injury, and right off the bat, he is playing. How about that, eh.

And why would they drop Seales after he has done a fantastic job in his debut?

The CWI org is not serious about the youth. If they were, Seales would have been in the starting eleven today. He should be pissed - off at the selectors, head coach and assistant coach. They all have done him an injustice.

My take is that Sri Lanka knew how that wicket would play; therefore, they weren't about to bat on a crumbling fifth-day spinners' wicket.

They also knew that if the West Indies had won the toss, they would have sent them in to bat because the WI also believed they liked chasing.

It is now up to Holder and Mayers to put up a good score tonight.

I forgot about Da Silva. He is due a three-digit. Now is the time to come of age and solidify his batting with that high score.

The middle-order is still there for him to get it on.
