I went to bed about 11PM which was about 30 minutes before play started.Woke up around 3AM and peeped at cricinfo and saw we were 45-0 and we had bowled Sri Lanka out for 386.I thought to my self that is a good start and contemplated getting out of bed and watching live.I then said those jokers would screw up the good start so I turned over and went back to sleep.Now I wake up to 113-6.
Now I am miserable but at least I had a solid night's rest.
Allyuh really believe these guys are better than Hetty???

My sentiments exactly. I watched it from the beginning of W.I innings and they started really well. Blackwood was very positive and Kraigg Brathwaite looked solid. From the time Blackwood got out leg before it went downhill from there.

Are you referring to the selectors having that thought process or are you referring to fans?

Let's take a look. Jackie Hendriks is calling for Lewis and Hetmyer in all formats. Clive Lloyd is calling for Lewis, Hetmyer and Pooran in all formats. Those of us on this forum who knows anything about cricket are aware that Hetmyer's omission from this test team is absolute foolishness from the selectors. Those in the know are aware that Mr Skerritt couldn't dabble in the selection of the players because of his criticism of his predecessor for doing just that, so the team selected had to stay that way.

Is it just a figure of speech or are you pointing the fingers at people other than the clueless selectors with the statement, "Allyuh really believe these guys are better than Hetty"???

I am quite sure `both these former player would like them to get familiar playing regional or A team long version, before selection into a test squad.

Well the next player cannot average 23 at FC level. Some standard need to be set. Yes, stop play internationally until we can find 4 to 5 batsmen that can average over 40 in FC cricket.
