It is always possible to go lower. This team is showing us how it is done. The 'cricket prophet' Sir Curtly said the following:
“When we were the best team in the word, West Indians all over the globe could walk and boast about how good we were because we were the best, so it’s going to be difficult to see those glory days again. Yes, we can be competitive and climb up the ICC rankings and be a force to be reckoned with again, but those glory days, I don’t think we will see them again,” by CaJr Staff

do you think that when WI first became a test playing group that punters would have predicted that we would become world beaters?

lets just try to improve our cricket and go from there

We have been trying to improve our cricket for years. The fact of the matter is that it is not improving and there is no simple solution to the problem. We have turned from world beaters to getting beaten up by the world. I am not saying that it is all doom and gloom but it certainly isn't acceptable.

We also can't keep riding on the coat tails of past great W.I cricketers. Sadly, there are presently no world class players in our setup. However, the saving grace is that there is talent. How that talent is nurtured to become successful is the next step forward.
