Cannot hold back his temptation at seeing a well tossed up delivery on off but skies the lofted hit high up, Lakmal is back at mid-off and he ambles a couple of steps behind himself to take it reverse-cupped lol

It is a mindset, one which has to change. When you are trying to save a game, you don't look to bash the ball to the boundary. Anyway, the blame cannot be placed on his shoulders when the top order batsmen failed. Blackwood gave away his hand foolishly yesterday and Kraigg got out lbw trying to pull the ball. Very often W.I batsmen try to be aggressive when scoring seems to be hard to do. This is why footwork is so important. A lot of our batsmen stay rooted to the crease rather than getting to the pitch of the ball and smothering the spin. I am glad to see that the nen put up some sort of resistance. The selectors need to keep the core of this team. It is still quite a young side and my hope is that they can improve with more experience.
