We should all rally against Skerritt and Shallow

The two blind mice have finally taken our battered and bruised cricket into the abyss.

This is not what they promised in their ten-point manifesto.

And having to bow to the wishes of a cricketer who focuses on personal interests (not West Indies cricket) is beyond crass and mind boggling to many cricket fans.

abyss
noun
a deep or seemingly bottomless chasm.
We have been there for at least 20 years. What has changed? The answer is NOTHING. And nothing will change because the great majority of Caribbean people have moved on. It is just the elderly and the Caribbean expats, who give a damn.

that is not true at all.

i was in Bim recently and most especially young people want WI to do well and are vested in the success of the team.

when we do well WIndians are proud.

they are despondent, yes but they have not moved on are many here spout

I am very disappointed in the Skerrit/Shallow administration on this and other counts.

They've been ordinary and poor most times

This just underlines the power wielded by the UB. It takes him and his crassness to force you into admission that Shallow Skillett is in over his head.

I would call it..two sly foxes .... furthering their ambition.....cost of West Indies cricket....had one of the sly fox won ICC post, which he lost....he would have anointed his stooge in the Board....as a politician, he has this calibre to please all and sundry.... despite, performance of the men team reaching nadir....just look a good coach Walsh and effect in women team...but stooges..he wishes and gets...

We cannot blame the administrators, if they could bat and bowl themselves then there would be no need to select a team, the resposibility on the field is on the players who failed and not the adminstrators, who have genarally given players more latitude to represent WI, unlike the previous adminstration.

I agree. Empty Skillet and Dr. Deep must go. They have led us into minnowhood in the only format in which we have won a world cup in this century. Enough is enough with these jokers!!!

The Empty Skillet legacy will be medical exemptions and packing teams with unfit players. It was no accident the two teams in the T20WC final were two of the fittest teams in the tournament, and their players would risk injury to save one run.

Well, it looks like we have a copycat on our hands!!

That won't do any good They have the Leewards, Windwards, de tits, and half of JA in their back pockets.` lol

Exactly, medical exemptions for Gayle and Rampaul, and fitness test failures for Rutherford and Smith. It boggles the mind that the only WI bowler who consistently bowled in the vicinity of 150 kph (Smith) during the CPL was left out in favor of a guy whose delivery speed decreased from over to over during a 4 over spell (Thomas).
