West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite believes his team is just getting started after clinching a series win against England in Grenada.

Following two draws in the first couple of Tests, a superb performance from the hosts on day three and day four overwhelmed the tourists and led to a 10-wicket victory to take the series 1-0.

The West Indies have still lost only once to England at home in Test cricket since 1968, with that solitary defeat coming in 2004.

"Very proud," Brathwaite said of his players after sealing the win. "My first home series win, so very happy.

"It was a very, very good series for us. In two hard-fought draws in the first two games, I thought England played extremely well and we had to show some fight in the last days of both of those games. But coming here, we ramped it up. It's been a remarkable effort."

Its great we won the series.

How many times we have seen such followed by a few losses in series.

One step at a time , Yes, some improvements , but we have flaws to work on.

Players focus in such areas and forget the praises.

These are the same people who will turn against you should you lose a couple of series.

It started in Bangladesh.
The winning squad on tour has become very close....just listen to Mayers as he expresses his happiness for Josh...

Its going to be tough to break into this test side....and so it should be....any incumbent who snoozes will lose his spot...

These players are playing for each other and the team....and the cappo...

Braffit has led from the front....and he looks the part as leader.

I am hoping there is a straight road ahead....an no more roundabout..

I liked what I heard about the camp before this series....5 hrs per day/6 days per week

Haven't you noticed Phil whole demeanor has changed....he no longer sits with the bowling coach snoozing or eating ice cream...messages are coming out to the WI cappo on the field during the match

honestly I saw that game with Mayers double century as some kind of a change in the players' approach.Seems they have finally realized Test Cricket is not voops and out, to paraphrase one of the posters here

My MOMENT was the lads BATTING PAST LUNCH ...I did not think we could do to them what they did to us but wagging that tail so effectively...but we did.

No doubt the Banga tour was a game changer. Even since there seems to be a lot more belief in the team.
Our Bowling unit is now up there and I fully believe we can bowl out any team twice over 5 days.

Our fielding has improved out of all proportion. I now think I'm this area there is no one better.

Our batting still has work to do but improving rapidly as players are somewhat putting more of a value on their wickets.

Our team spirit and leadership is now top class
