Pakistan.
At least 33 million people have been affected by deadly flooding in Pakistan, the country's climate change minister said on Thursday.
Since mid-June, 937 people have died from severe rain and flooding across the South Asian country, according to the country's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
Sherry Rehman, the minister for climate change, called the floods "unprecedented" and "the worst humanitarian disaster of this decade."

Global warming is real and I am afraid in another 2 generations this problem will lead to global suffering and turmoil as countries and people fight for migration, resources and survival.

we are a generation late in dealing with the problem. for 30-35 years everyone ignored it while the droughts became worse, the hurricanes became even more intense(mitch, ivan, gilbert etc). Al gore made an inconvenient truth about 16 years ago and a lot of what he discovered was criticized and he was accused of being alarmist in some quarters. Now we have a group of scientists who suddenly know that a potential apocalypse is upon us.....decades too late.

Lots of scientists are owned by big oil.
Global warming certainly appears to be a boon to mankind. Since the 19th century, world population increased to the order of about 500% and the standard of living increased considerably more. If the increase in the average global temps of about 1.2 C during that period was so unproblematic, why would the increase of another half degree over the next few decades be a major issue?
