Takes a while to recover from and injury plagued year - being 40 and trying to stay at a high athletic leval aint easy. She seems to be getting back into the flow of things with less that half herusualu tourney participation prior to these Slams.

serena is a big woman even though it's more muscle than fat you can't expect her to be carrying that weight around in her 40's day in and day out in that type of sport
