I see no mention of him in the pecking order here, yet his name is gaining popularity in other mass media, locally and internationally. Shouldnt he eat a food?

Nicholson Gordon - How Good Is He?
kartik favorite CPL bowler
a product of sir ambi and shiv coaching book
In reply to XDFIX
The 30 year old looks like a good utility player to me but not much more there....and he is eating a food at CPL...which should get him more food in other leagues
He is a very likable player on the field...excellent effort and attitude.
Indian TV comm Murali Karthic has taken a liking for him.

Can you guess why? #1
Can you guess why? # 2
I will take a stab at this
# 1 Because people were watching Serena and did not see Nicholson "Malcom Marshall" Gordon and his heroics
# 2 Because they saw him take out two well set International players of some repute in consecutive balls on his CPL debut.

I don't know why Raymon Reifer didn't play....or if he took Reifer's spot...but there is no way he is going to be dropped for Reifer in the next few games
The guy is a poor man's Alzari Josephs....and if Josephs is barely making the world cup squad,,then go figure with the Gordon person!!!
Is Nicholson Gordon the latest Leroy Lugg?
In reply to imusic
Leroy is good bro, he played for my team Maple in the elite div a couple of years.
In reply to imusic
Leroy St Aubin Lugg is a Jamaican first-class cricketer. Lugg was born at Kingston in August 1996. He played for the West Indies under-19 cricket team in 2013, making six Youth One Day International appearances during the series - still a young man!

So

How many good players have Maple produced?
In reply to openning
Maple began playing 1st div cricket in 1963 and produced Keith Boyce, Kemar Roach, Cory Collymore to name a few, can you point me to the players Empire produce from 1963 until now.
In reply to tc1
I played for Yorkshire, that would be my team had I stayed in Bim.
Don't have a team in Barbados.
Empire suffered like most of the 1st division clubs, from the devaluation of the product
Not hungry today?
Doh need to eat a food?

I was looking forward to a Gordon matchup against Hettie but was disappointed!
In reply to XDFIX
Hety certainly seemed to enjoy it
Is Gordons nickname lollipop by any chance?
I was just watching a replay of the Jamaica Franchise game and saw Gorden in action.
You just can't miss his adaptation of the Ransford Beaton bowling action which features his head just about toughing the ground following his delivery. I hope he does better that Beaton though and secure a return catch at least every once in a while. Yes, I know that he already completed one off Bravo in the opening game.

Anticlimax!

I can not imagine why you would be looking forward to such a match up.
