Phew!
Finally. This is the end, beautiful friend. The end. Well, let’s hope so. For now at least.
In the absence of the government doing any actual governing, we’ve been forced to endure the tedium of a drawn out Tory leadership contest. A niche psychodrama for the 160,000 people allowed to vote. One with very little actual drama as we’ve all known who was going to win from the moment MPs reduced the candidates down to the final two.
Given a choice of a halfwit with half an idea and a flatlining ideologue with no actual ideas, the Conservative members were always going to vote for the most hopeless. There’s even less to Liz Truss than meets the eye.

The only journalist I see calling out the racism of Tory party members is Nadine White at the Independent.

Well in the US, this group have gone Modi- they have formed an organization that took inspiration from Zionism, formed a strategic relationship with the AIPAC and fund the Hindutva movement in India with an American chapter.
Meanwhile back "home in the USA" some of them support "liberal causes." Just like many American Jews who support the persecution of Palestinians in Palestine by Israelis, while being "liberal" in the USA

The level of detachment they all have is astounding.
My main beef with the Rishi and Priti types is that their families benefitted greatly when given the opportunity to come to England. Now just one generation later, they are pulling up the ladder and practically bleaching their skin! But allow them an opportunity to go back ‘home’ in a victory tour and they’d take it as the Jeremies of this world will lick their boots and fete them as heroes…while being kicked.
For them, to align with a ‘home’ policy or group is harmless…maybe even beneficial if you rub shoulders with more of the washed!
