Moron Archbishop of T&T: T&Ts leaders dont serve
There is a problem with leadership in T&T, according to Archbishop Jason Gordon they dont serve. In his address to the congregation at the traditional washing of the feet ceremony on Holy Thursday, Gordon pointed out the shortcomings in leadership locally. If something thats gone wrong with us in Trinidad and Tobago, its here in leadership. We dont see our leaders, we dont see ourselves when we are leaders as people who serve. We see ourselves as people who have everybody else, wanting to lord it over everybody else. Brothers and sisters, its creating challenge in society, he said.
He added: Somehow when we get a little elevation everybody who was with us beforethem have to feel the full wrath of we rod and we mouth. True or not true? Why?This, he said, was even witnessed within the household dynamic where some children were treated badly.
How often have parents treated children badly, talk down at them, belittle them in public, make them feel less than...a cent of shaved ice in the sun?
This he said goes on to perpetuate the misguided views of leadership in the country. If the first experience that children have is that people who are big is make you feel small then when they grow big, what they going to do? Make people feel small, he said.Is only small people does make people feel small.

What about your homes for Children, Sagba Report? How did your Church serve? Kids were raped and sodomized.
I am aware of Judges that turned you down when you asked them to be on a committee to investigate such abuses.
They are all Catholics....they viewed it as too toxic...
Have you hit anyone in the Church lately?
Did Rome apologize for your outburst against PMs in The Caribbean recently?. Rome did before.
Priests are dismissing employees that are causing grief on the legal side, and more legal briefs crossing your desk lately.
One of the largest legal firms decided to reject representing your organization in a brief. You are asking for more time?
Your Priest that handles communications is a Jerk , how did he get such a position?
Then again your Board of Directors is clueless....
Soon High Court....

We need to know why the assault charge in Barbados against the Archbishop was quietly settled when he was appointed R. C. Archbishop of Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidadians and Tobagonians like to play dumb and dotish when it is convenient. How much money changed hands ...only God knows?

Perhaps it's unwise and nonproductive to go there Mr. Archbishop if only for the separation of church and State. It's recommended that you preach to your flock collectively without publicly calling-out or specifying any particular group by name in the process. Mr. Archbishop, you ought to know that when you point a finger, there're usually at least 3 pointing back at you. Try it Sir, providing you don't mind or find it too inconvenient.

Talk about power going to your head. Jason Gordon you are a Priest not a Political Activist, behave like a Priest.

I am afraid to ask how a priest behaves..

Imaginary god botherers should stick to their job minding and robbing their flocks of witless sheep instead of poking their noses into politics. If archbigot Gordon wants to run the country he could stand for election instead of accumulating tithes. The history of the catholic church is littered with war and killings, both with other varieties of god botherer and between christian sects. Along with centuries of sexual abuse ignored, denied or deliberately concealed. The organisation has such a lousy record of leadership and oppression that they make even our politicos look like saints. You forgot to mention priests. They are among the very worst child abusers but the catholic church hides and protects them. This coming from a PNM False Preacher and Member of a Pedophile organization.

Your sermon is true;BUT dont forget you are a leader too. Sometimes we dont have to go into the Bible to see how to lead. I remember Archbishop Finbar Ryan was like a king on a throne, then the young Tony Pantin came and served us . He was our shepherd who lead us by serving us. So Archbishop dont just run your mouth on citizens who struggling to survive ; come in the streets and March with us, feel our pain like Tony did. Ill always remember Archbishop Anthony Pantin , with love and respect .

Hey Gordon, you know that there is LEADERSHIP CRISIS in this place???....sound like your TITHES collection on the DECLINE.
St Dominics alleged abuser denied bail, 6 victims seek $2.5M in damages
Junior Dexter Peters, 51, was yesterday denied bail when he appeared virtually before a Port-of-Spain magistrate charged with two offences arising out of claims of sexual abuse at the St Dominics Childrens Home 25 years ago.And six former wards are now threatening to sue Peters, the St Dominics Home, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Port-of-Spain and the Attorney Generals Office for as much as $2.5 million in damages as a result of that alleged abuse.Peters appeared before Magistrate Maureen Baboolal-Gafoor charged with attempted buggery and sexual indecency. He was, however, denied bail because of previous convictions related to marijuana possession and cruelty to animals.
Peters appeared before Baboolal-Gafoor virtually from the Besson Street identification parade room. He will remain in custody until September 9.So far, the charges against Peters, a former employee at St Dominics Childrens Home, arise out of an alleged incident with one victim. He is expected to be further charged this weekend for claims from two other witnesses.
Peters was arrested at the St Anns Hospital last Friday by Sgt Baptiste and Woman Corporal Deonarine of the Child Protection Unit. While he was in custody, Peters was served with the pre-action protocol letter, which he signed for.The letter was also sent to the current manager of St Dominics Home Sister Arlene Greenidge.
