Hope
Hopeless.
In reply to bird
Is hopeless @ t20 ,and I am being generous.
In reply to cricketmad
And ODI as well.
This man regressing seriously.
Warriors will drop him.
He needs to play strokes and stop trying to hit hard.
I just can't understand him.
In reply to TanteMerle
It is not his fault, blame Hetty and others for having him in the playing X1.
The experiment should be over after today
Shepherd has to become a batting all rounder
Countdown to fuzzy rushing een to defend
In reply to imusic
There is no defending this nonsense.
Hope is hopeless fa real.
In reply to TanteMerle
I didn't want to say he is totally hopeless ,I try very hard to be diplomatic.
In reply to TanteMerle
I will say this.
Shai Hope can bat and bat quickly.
Hes demonstrated that before in CPL
What were seeing now either has to be a physical issue that most fans are unaware of.
Or
Mental.
I go with the latter.
All the criticism of his strike rate on social media etc MUST mess with ones head. Shai is a ways away from going down the Darren Bravo pathway, but it would be a travesty if we were to lose such obvious talents to largely off the field issues.
Especially given our already comparatively meager cricketing player resources.
In reply to imusic
Dont they have net sessions and practice matches to sort these things out
Hope is not a t20 batter, he is an ODI player and a good one at that too. I have said this time and time again. Why do you think the Royals were more than happy to sell him .
I will not lose hope for Hope as I have for Bravo but a sign of a good batsman is adaptability which we are not seeing from Hope.
