Irfan should not sign up for dat.
Dem all wanna come to Guyana now that we gats oil
This is an ideal time for Ifran to push for a Caricom Headquarters and common money, passports etc if he sees it as beneficial for Guyana.
If he deems it as advantageous to Guyana he can imprint the dominance.
Guyana have plenty land and not enough of a population to turn it into one of South Americas economic giants.

Can Guyana get to a point where it is self sufficient in food production and have a viable Energy industry to diversify the economy to enable good roads, infrastructure, education and safety for the population?
I think that would be the goal. While T&T had lots of positives from the Energy Industry there are many lessons of certain things that could have been done better which is something Guyana could improve on.
Ifran could bring back the Federation 60+ years after it fell at the 1st hurdle.

The messaging from the government has been along those lines. Dont want to be a one trick pony like sugar in the past and oil in the future.
Food fit for export is key.
