Pooran needs to get his head right......all de funkyness with his hair seems to be pulling at his brain. Why de hell yuh going after wide balls. Those two deliveries from Amir and Chase could have been ignored. We weren't in a hurry.....homie couldda chill dread. I said it on this thread before....pooran need a FC season badly....this constant diet of limited overs cricket has him trying to hit everything.....don't need to do that

what flaw....there was a dop catch in alzarri's over that should have been two runs instead of the single they ran.

He needs to get in and soak up some balls before he tries to go for boundaries. He thinks that hitting a boundary will help him but it is the ones and two's that will bring the boundary.
He is not settling in first. He just wants to go from first ball.

you is not the same dude who has been trying to convince us that carl hooper was an allrounder...........to me that sounds like a nationalistic attempt at defending an an extremely ordinary average for an average batsman and downright atrocious for someone as gifted as Carl

I will be charitable and tell you in no uncertain terms that I have not said Carl Hooper was an all-rounder.He was merely somebody whose bowling portfolio was increased because of the 90 over rule, whereby teams had to bowl 90 overs in a day or be fined heavily.This was ignored by Viv Richards so the ICC moved to suspending the captain for 1 match after more than 1 infraction.
Carl Hooper was not an AVERAGE BATSMAN. While he had a MEDIOCRE AVERAGE as a batsman, he was an extremely gifted batsman whose returns were an ABOMINATION for someone of his ability.Shane Warne,Steve Waugh and Justin Longer are just 3 Australian cricketers who have that same opinion.Incidentally that sentiment is shared by numerous great cricketers including the likes of Clive Lloyd,Viv Richards,Curtly Ambrose and Malcolm Marshall.
You do not see me on here going on and on about the country of birth in any jingoistic fashion as is common on this board because I recognize the country of my birth is merely an accident of where my forbears were dropped off.As it is my forbears are from Antigua and found their way to the then British Guiana in the 1860's.
