one has a 117 test wickets, the other zero

no matter what people say...

I dont understand why Bishoo's name is being called....he is history...he hasn;t played for the WI for years now....he doesn't play for Guyana in any format

I would expect the leg spinner selected for the WC to be in the limelight

I would choose the one who has a better strike rate than the great Lance Gibbs.

Bishoo wasn’t a bad spinner…..he just failed in expanding his game after he got that ICC award. He thought he was the finished article while not even having a googly, which is an essential tool in a leg spinner’s tool box. But Holder’s typically brainless use of him while captain would not have helped his confidence either. If he had Kraigg as a captain, who is much better tactically than Holder as captain l, he would have used him better.

Walsh Jr is talentless to me though. He had a good run in 2019 because nobody knew him and WI batsmen usually freeze against even the most basic slow bowler. He and bishoo are totally different

...the difficult choice I would have to make. I hope Walsh follows Bishoo's path of success.

big grin

Sobers played lots of LO cricket. Especially in English County cricket
