How quick is Martin?
His action is ‘whispering’

As usual, not even a fly at the stadium, BUT glad the commentary and video have gotten better.

Medium quick…loses some momentum at the popping crease…

Raskil 2023-02-01 03:04:20

In reply to mikelegend

He has a very smooth run up and delivery however from my distanced viewing, I blame his loss of pace on his wrist and fingers positioning on the ball at release.

mikelegend 2023-02-01 05:14:44

In reply to Raskil

I couldn’t really see the positioning of his wrist and fingers, so I’ll take your word on that. However, after that smooth approach to the wicket, I do not think his high leap at the popping crease is then met with a strong front leg brace to catapult the ball (with a bowling action of course). That said, I may have to see more of him from a side on view to confirm

Martin has a nice run up

velo 2023-02-01 16:28:58

that shot athanaze played to get out shows why his average is the way it is and why he has never scored a hundred totally ridiculous for a captain of a side

He started the Super50 with back to back centuries then lost his groove, hopefully he can ton up at least once this FC Season.

Maispwi 2023-02-03 19:20:47

Why did the Windwards go back to bat this morning?

imusic 2023-02-03 19:40:12

In reply to Maispwi

Because they want to secure 2nd innings points cool

Overthrow 2023-02-03 20:08:44

Ryan John has been impressive. On a flat pitch he is generating very good pace and bounce. Very similar to Sylvester Clarke in his approach to bowling.

Dey were leading by 325 runs overnight and went back in to score 28 runs before declaring. Is like dey playing for a draw but will accept a win if it happens.

Maispwi 2023-02-03 20:42:50

14 overs left in the game - 5 wickets to get or 146 runs for a win

Overthrow 2023-02-04 16:33:13

Volcanoes missed a trick in this game. With a very good total set, the field placement should have been more aggressive, especially after the fifth wicket fell.
