I cant watch every player every game so feel free to highlight your picks.
Thats the purpose of this thread to look at players for the 5 years plan.
I feel if theyre over 28 years old and havent been kicking down the door
well lets focus on the younger generation.
BTW Chris Gayles test debut was at the age of 20. Fun fact.
Good returns so far on the batting front.
Look out for Shemar Joseph from Tucber Park, New Amsterdam, Guyana
In reply to doosra
That BHS ground producing some talent
How old is he?
In reply to Raskil
he is 22 i think
the Tucber Park club that Mr. Moore set up post-Berbice. Shepherd et al. I think they are based at BHS but not entirely sure
In reply to doosra
That's correct! Carl's juniors have become grown men. Proving nothing beats intensive personal coaching. He must be proud to see these guys come through.
[b]In reply to Raskil
Has to be tempered with the fact the bowling has been poor. Though you can only bat what is bowled to you!
In reply to cumberland
However the wicket wasnt a batting paradise
All taken into consideration
Joseph bowled with some pace this afternoon...had Brooks and Moseley fending, fishing and hopping to a few
In reply to doosra
Yes
the only other time that I saw him he was innocuous military medium pace in a streamed local 50 over game.
He looked a lot more threatening today
.skiddy pace of the pitch.
In reply to doosra
wow the muddies got fast bowlers.
In reply to tc1
so much so we can start sending off some to motherland bim
In reply to robbo
indeed, i didn't think much then but it was the everest dead track...he is skiddy
In reply to doosra
Yeah quite like the look of him actually
I think Im right in saying that he was one of the young bowlers that curtly Ambrose worked with fairly recently.
In reply to robbo
Thats why he was bowling in the handkerchief, I felt he needed to pull his length back slightly.
In reply to robbo
i am not sure he worked with sir curtly but dr dukes might confirm
K Sinclair
In reply to Raskil
28 is not a talent pool..Its an active adult community
The cutoff age for talent spotting should be 26
In reply to FanAttick
I kept it U28, thats a solid 7 years of internal cricket given the advances in sports therapy.
U26 is unfair
In reply to doosra
yea bai
How old is Shemar?
Carty from LI seems to be coming good today and Hinds from Trinidad is a very underrated regional allrounder who perhaps has now merited consideration for A team selection.
In reply to PalsofMine
Updated however Hinds didnt make the U28
I like Carty
In reply to Chrissy
i was surprised at his low FC average when it was posted a couple weeks ago. He looks so organised at the crease that I have pegged him as our potential test No. 3 batsman when Reifer retires
In reply to Kay
22
