Evergreen LeBron James becomes NBA’s all-time leading scorer.
Two great and decent men - Kareem and LeBron

It's wild how good he has been for so long. Seriously, still at the top of his game. Even Jordan at 38, while still playing, wasn't the same guy.

Insane talent and dedication.

Maybe not, but didn't Jordan average 23 at age 38 after plenty time out of the game?

You do know Jordan's era was one of actual TOUGH basketball, right?

Scoring has been made MUCH easier in this era too.

BTW, two words...Jason Terry.

Congrats to LeBron on the great milestone. However, he is no Kareem.

Well done, he is now the Brian Lara of Basketball. It was an extra treat to see Bro Kareem there to pass the baton.

Watch this interview clip with Kareem being interviewed by Shaq

Great career for Lebron.

Enes

Looks like it was deleted.

Lebron is has his pay masters. He is not as 'great' in terms of 'nobility' as some want to make him out to be. Let's just acknowledge that he is one of the greatest players ever and not lie to ourselves about all that other stuff.

He will keep his mouth shut to protect that paper. He's only 'brave' when there's nothing to lose. The Chinese and the ADL have him, like many others, under manners.

The end.

I think Kareem took a hard shot here

Here’s the main reason I don’t care that much about my record being broken: I’m no longer focused on my basketball legacy as much as I am on my social legacy. I’m not trying to build a billion-dollar empire, I write articles in defense of democracy and advocating on behalf of the marginalized. (Maybe the billions will roll in eventually if I write a really, really great article.)

that article had shade all over it big grin

Yes, Jordan and the Bulls have wrecked the dreams of many a franchise that we support. Knicks, Jazz, Pacers, Magic, Blazers, Cavs, and others.

Anyway, LeBron. Amazing achievement. How many more years does he have in the tank?

Anyone notice that Lebron got the record, and then sat and watched his team lose a close game?
