It wasn't necessarily the "worst halftime show" as he pointed out but it was boring af. I almost fell asleep at one point. Seems Rhi Rhi was just going thru the motions of the song and barely moved at all except walk back and forth struggling to carry that extra weight. They could have tried to get Sza to perform or some other relevant celebrity.

Is someone like SZA well-known enough for a stage like this? Not sure if she's got global recognition on par with Rihanna (or Beyonce or Dr Dre and crew, et al) but happy to be corrected.
Perhaps when the agreement was made, Rihanna wasn't pregnant... I don't think there's ever been a SB halftime performer cancelling their appearance so maybe her team convinced the NFL/Fox that they'd still put on a show.

Yeah, she is well known although not as decorated as Rhi Rhi. Her debut album went triple-platinum and she's now followed up with a banger in her sophomore album that recently peaked at #1 in Billboard's Top200, breaking several records along the way and was #1 for seven consecutive weeks. So yeah, you can usually tell if an artist is good or not by how well their sophomore album does.

I'm trying to think of recent SB halftime performers - Timberlake, Bruno Mars, the Weeknd, Katy Perry, so if she reached that status level then awesome.
