Medvedev is the real heir apparent. No problem with that.
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
How come you only post headlines when Djoker loses? Where were you for the whole 1st two months of 2023?
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
You post those
In reply to Chrissy
Doh study he sis
He was poised over he keyboard ready to post when Carlos got injured during his match against Norrie.
Now he lookin to call you out.
Ah know de reflection of you by yuhself not good
.but look in yuh mirror Fuzz
In reply to imusic
Well Fuzz did reply to himself on dis one so my response was correct
Medvedev played some of the best tennis I have ever seen him play (I generally don't like his style of play). Joka was clearly outplayed and it was very interesting indeed..
In reply to hotarobin
Djoka also made over 30 unforced errors.
Very much unlike him.
In reply to imusic
Don't worry, folks. Djoker was a little rusty, having not played since Oz open, plus he's already made it clear he's only interested in winning grand slams. These little tournaments are just warm up.
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
like dis one
In reply to Chrissy
Come on Chrissy 2 years ago?
In reply to imusic
..because Medvedev outplayed him both in offence and defence and shots that would normally be winners against other players were not against Medvedev. As a matter of fact they came back with more fire power forcing Joka to hit the extra ball and inducing the unforced errors.
You see Mr Fuzz, you speak as if unforced errors have nothing to do with the opponent and sometime it doesn't, but often times the opponent can get in your head and make you panic and then everything falls to pieces..from what I saw Medvedev got in his head throughout the match evidenced by his repeated failed attempts to abort the point by going for the drop shot which wasn't very successful..
I want to see Alcaraz get back to full fitness again and see him against de Joka..that will be interesting cause now he has a reputation to uphold/defend..
In reply to FuzzyWuzzy
But dat was not a lil tournament
In reply to hotarobin
No way Djoka can beat a fit Carlos.
Take that to the bank
The world No. 1, Djokovic remains unvaccinated against Covid-19 and still cannot enter the United States without an exemption. He has asked for one and is awaiting an answer.
Hmmmmmmmm!
In reply to Chrissy
poor Joka suffering for the sake of others..I can bet that most of the players ARE NOT vaxxed and let's agree to disagree, rightfully so...anyways all the best to Joka, he was robbed of at least one major last year with the vaxx mandate BS..
In reply to hotarobin
IF he was robbed

if this is true Biden should not intervene
Novak Djokovic has reportedly been denied his request to enter America unvaccinated and compete in Indian Wells and Miami, according to Florida Senator Rick Scott. The American politician shared the news late on Friday, claiming that Homeland Security had decided not to let Djokovic into the country and calling on Joe Biden to intervene.
Tennis ranking are not a factor in the evaluation of public health.

See yah Novax
Novak Djokovic withdraws from Indian Wells because of vaccination status
The 22-time Grand Slam winner, 35, had applied for special permission to enter the US because he is not vaccinated against Covid-19.
The US requires international visitors to be vaccinated and proof will be required until at least 10 April.
Relaxing protocols does not mean you aren't required to be vaccinated
Why wast time applying for exemption?
Djoka should have just walked across the southern border like everybody else.
In reply to johndom90
You think you can just walk across the border? You not naive so you must be watching too much Fox News
In reply to imusic
Naive?????????
Caravans/Lines of illegal immigrants crossing at the southern border illegally every day is " naive ' in your opinion.
It's a " fox news thing"??????
I don't expect him to actually do it ...but maybe this shot past you.
I expect others to jump in piggybacking on your feigned derision.
In reply to johndom90
Check it out for yourself.
Show up at an American border entry point and stroll in as you suggest.
Let us know how that goes for you.
Unless of course youre an American.
In reply to imusic
BUt let's suppose he walked across in di caravan - is he going to show up to play at a Masters 1,000 tennis tournament?
No vaccne - if you're a foreigner NO ENTRY!
I see the need for baby steps...hand holding.
the " double entendre" in the quip is beyond.
Covid vaccines are important for National health....
Unvaccinated Illegals can illegally cross the border...hotel stay..bus rides but ....no talk of vaccination/health risk to me and you.
No authority putting they foot down on illegal unvaccinated. .....
but.....No tennis for you Buddy.
It cah be true ....both ah you actually think I expect Joker to walk cross the border on foot.... and show up to play tennis all official like
It just shows how Farcical , these conmandates /vaccines / boosters are as they relate to so called " national health"
