Lead Selector The Most Hon. Dr Desmond Haynes said: Roston gets an opportunity in the upcoming series as we see him being a versatile player who can be called upon at any stage in the game..."
I don't understand how you replace a fast man with someone who bowls spins occasionally cause their main role is a batsman.

Dessie is a lot of thing but i doubt he is god

Test cricket is destroying Chase's T20 game!
Chase needs to concentrate on what's important. Leave that test nonsense in the past.

Nah man God got it right!!! Imagine he goes back to FC Cricket and scores runs then boom they got an excuse again to pick him against India!!! Although where he's concerned they don't really need an excuse to pick him

Yuh good yunnuh you have me cracking up.
Even reading I can get the timing of the punchline
as good as if you were on stage

God doesn't need to love Chase -just his countryman Dessie Haynes - as long as Haynes remains Chairman of Selectors

Left arm fast bowler replacement....off spin part time batter....And we appoint Commission to inquire about the reason for losses!!!!!

Well they say God is a Bajan and Dessie is a Christian, so Dessie is God's representative on earth and is doing his bidding by picking Chase.
...of course there had to be divine intervention for Chase to be picked...in case anyone is wondering.
The LS is insuring that (some) cricketers who won't get a franchise call up earn some money. He seems quite committed to maintaining the welfare state WI cricket has become. Just to think that 3 short years ago Roston topped the CPL runs chart and the thinking was he'd catch some IPL $$$. Alas! He's had to settle for a Windian pay day and along came DH.
Mind you, it's not just Chase who needs to be kept on the payroll!
and Roger Harper was replaced by this Haynes guy!
reward for unproductive versatility.
