If we are stupidly going to choose a spinner to replace a fast bowler then Motie would have been a better option. He has already proven against South Africa that he can both out bowl and out bat Chase even as a lower order batsman and Chase could not buy a wicket, despite given more overs than Motie. Another wasted Bajan pick.

It doesn't matter too much who they select, they will get plenty licks.

What about The Wall?
Looks like he has been forgotten.
In reply to Drapsey
Definitely the Wall would also be a better choice than Chase, the Wall is been held back for off-field reasons but we should always play the better player.
Considering there is no CWC points to play for and the probability that West Indies will be playing the CWC qualifiers this series has been a missed opportunity to look at some other players.
as was the Zim tour

We have somehow lost our way and no one in administration seems to care, as there are no accountability or consequences for our recent strings of embarrassing loses.

Yeah, maybe with the CWI elections, no permanent head coach etc things are being allowed to drift.
Nothing would have been lost giving Athanaze, Imlach, James, Ambris, Gordon an opportunity in this ODI series.

Certainly, give the youths a chance to get some exposure and experience which is sadly lacking among our young players.
