What is extremely sad is though a part-timer he has so regressed.
That happens with every single WI player. It seems they do not work
hard enough. Don't play FC when it suits them, don't play club cricket
when idle, don't train (fitness) nor practice enough nor practice in
match simulated mode. When Saqlain Mushie was bowling coach Chase took
an 8fer vs England to win us a match. Saqqui he said stressed to him
that 'remember tomorrow you may be bowling 30 or more overs, be physically
and mentally prepared'

Give us you prepared answer and how do you reconcile that response against your refusal to say whether Charles is better than Motie?

I do not need to prepare an answer.When I compared Charles with Chase,I was comparing two right arm off-spin bowlers in terms of their attributes and because it was exactly the same it was easy to compare.Comparing completely different styles and eras is much more difficult and usually requires a vast difference in ability to be able to say definitively who is better.In the case of trying to compare Motie and Charles it is difficult but quite unfair to Charles who is quite inexperienced.That despite all that he is obviously better than Chase says more about Chase than it does about Charles. One could look at the loop in his delivery.The drift, flight and revolutions he puts on the ball are quite different and clearly superior to Chase.

BTW your question about Motie was not designed to illuminate anything because you know the answer to that question it was just designed to bring Nationality into it and create a distraction.

BOTTOM LINE Chase is not a front line bowler in International Cricket and even in regional T 20 cricket he more often than not does not bowl his full complement of 4 overs so there can be no reasonable expectation that he will do so in South Africa. He certainly does not open the bowling NOR bowl at the Death so how could he replace McCoy!!!!!
