West Indian cricketers...

...must stop inventing excuses for their dismal performances and accept the fact that they are overly technically deficient.

This is an important step in overcoming shortcomings...admitting there are problems and working on them.

Sad to say, the vast majority of our cricketers are too entrenched in their bad habits and poor techniques that it may be too late to learn the game properly. Consequently CWI must not waste their already stretched resources on such a bad bunch pf cricketers. They are at the point of diminishing returns and no CEO worth his salt will continue with such investments.

Thus, the way forward for our administrators is to identify players with potential and afford them the opportunity of professional training.

CWI has already identified such players and therefore the plan moving forward should be to provide the much needed resources and commence the required training ASAP.

Interesting thoughts Courts. Question, where does the capital come from to implement the aforementioned? I would appreciate your feedback on the matter.

No serious influx of financial resources are needed. Just a repurposing of the current resources.

For example clearing the decks of players who receive central contracts and awarding promising youngsters who will selected to play for us.

Let's flesh this out
What time-frime will these youngsters have to develop (U 19 n U23's) to say a #5 test ranking

How will "The Feeder Stream (U15)
be identified and developed

If say 3yrs into this "experiment" those youngsters are getting licks, ranks lower than currently and less revenue and sponsorship results what contingency would be adopted or what contingency must already be in place to avoid that?
