Rightfully criticized for his under 100sr and eating up balls at the top of the order.
Do you now understand the difference of a faster scoring rate in the 1st poweerplay and Shai's 100+ sr? Difference between winning and losing.

Objectivity cuts every way......

So we can only win if Shai:
a) mekking nuff runs and
b) mek dem fast?

There are no expectations on the other 10 to mek nuff runs?

Is that all you understand from the post?

Let me not even say anything else except
'Keep BRINGLING' whenever there's an objective
observation of your homie. SMH!

Stated in the post itself.
A. When Shai opens and ends not out with a sr of 115 he uses up more than a third of the balls faced but more importantly balls in The Batting Powerplays at sr of less than 70

B. Low sr at the top of the innings force other batsmen to take more risks to more attacking fields.

C. Players such as Sarwan, Shiv, Gayle who played at least the 1st half of their careers in a completely different era of ODI's have at least a comparable if not superior sr to Shai Hope. As a key player on the team it is not unusual for the expectation of 'To whom much is given much is expected'

D. When the early batting poweerplay is underutilized and Shai ends up with a ton not out it means the 'mad rush' forced on others at the end of the innings is more likely to end in risky shots and dramatic collapses.
