..the bowling was very disappointing expect for Hosein and Aljo. If we are to win consistently, the bowlers need to
Get it together. Surprised to see how nany bad balls Cariah bowled...thought he was a tighter bowler. Odean Smith continues to be erratic althollugh he does get the off one or 2 wickets.

For us to win regularly with this bowling attack, we must score around 350 runs each time which will not happen. Cariah has not played many matches but he is already bowl ng as badly as Walsh. Not sure he's the answer for the wrist spinner the team.
needs.

Not sure if there should be any changes cuz Gabriel's sluggish movements, his inability to bat and his lack of productivity with the ball in his outings so far in SA, has not convinced me that he will bring any value to the team.

So I say :bowlers do some better preparation between now and the next match and put on a better display on Tuesday.

Good points although on this ground 335 was a massive score.

and Cariah probably has not bowled since the last FC match in the first round so lets hope that he does tighten up for the next match after this outing.

Pooran is so talented, never looks in trouble against pace or spin but is fast becoming a thirty something batter at the international level.
He needs to take a fresh guard and refocus once in the thirties and set himself targets e.g next target, a half century, then 5over targets until he gets to the 40th over when he can drop his guard and beat some ball.

He's just to talented to be getting out so softly so often before getting to the fifties.

I say bring in Romario Shepherd or Keemo Paul for Odean Smith. Save Odean for T20s. Then Motie should eventually regain his place ahead of Cariah.

Don't know what Gabriel at 35 is doing in the squad. He and Brooks are wasted investments heading into this world cup. The squad has changed drastically from 2019.

In ODIs, Pooran should be cake-walking to at least 50 in every innings. He is playing a T20 type innings too early in his innings. Only one ODI hundred in his career so far, that is disappointing. In ODIs there is lots of time on his hands if he comes in before the 20th over.

He should look to get to 50 first safely, then finish off the innings with more expansiveness. That is how Hope got passed a hundred recently. There was a century for the taking for Pooran too. He must be more selfish and look to bat through as our lower order isn't the most consistent.

Holder first 5 overs cost 25... with 1 maiden... when South Africa was scoring @ above 7.... Joseph and Akeal were going over 11 runs/ over..in their first 3 overs.... anyways, it was team effort...going to improve every other match...
