Hemraj gaan for his usual lickit 20sinting
what a waste of talent
In reply to doosra
In reply to Chrissy
he should let me manage him for 3 months
50 fi Sachin Singh - bat on
Perez is an attractive batsman
In reply to doosra
Agree
In reply to doosra
Is Perez from Venezuela?
To manage Hemraj you have to go to the source of the roti cooking and tell them to stop clapping the roti when hes around.
In reply to Raskil
possibly...we are many
In reply to doosra
Perez around a while now... Couple years ago he made the WI U19 world Cup squad as an opener and ended up missing it due to injury. Joshua Persaud missed the same WC too due to off-field issues.
Sachin Singh is another one... Was at all of the WI U19 training camps... Felt that he arrived and his fitness and performance went downhill after that...
Word is that lunch is yet to arrive for the players that's the reason for the delay... Used to be a regular thing back when I played but now they got live coverage so the public could see
In reply to anthonyp
Food strike
In reply to anthonyp
In reply to Raskil
Ain't see some of dem fellas size? Can't play with their food
Looks like they are satisfied... Stike done, play resumes
In reply to Raskil
Wondered the same - still someone should tell dem Guyanese commies dat the man's name is not PEErez.
Play resumes
In reply to anthonyp
What was Sachin's final score?
In reply to anthonyp

In reply to Chrissy

With the food situation
Ayuh please remember empty bag cannot stand up.
In reply to Raskil
adams, sachin, and hemraj look empty to you?
In reply to doosra
Looks can be deceiving
In reply to Raskil
Thanks
50 fi Perez
i have not yet given up on Akshaya...he has talent but he gotta watch that weight
tell uncle Seeram to ease off
In reply to doosra
Approaching 50. Demerara is scoring faster than West Indies
In reply to Chrissy
i think Bazball will catch on more and more given the already existing lickit tendencies
good for the game overall but there will be times when you have to dig in
In reply to doosra
50 fi Akshaya - bat on
Tea
Demerara 225/2
Perez 75*
Persaud 50*
Play about to resume
100 partnership
Now he gives it away after scoring a six
240/3
Perez gawn for 86
Barnwell gawn lbw Hubbard for 19
273/4
300 up - ball lost
In reply to anthonyp
Akshaya 85*
In reply to doosra
92*
Essequibo 's catching and fielding is atrocious
Another 100 partnership
I like the hunger for spending time at the crease
The senior guys like Barnwell and Hemraj lack the patience
Ali Mohammed gawn for 62
375/5
Ton
4 4
Good ton dat Akshaya off 141 balls
In reply to Chrissy
141 balls
In reply to doosra
Good ton by Akahaya... But what's up with the celebration? Man pelt away his helmet.. Then pointing to his bat to show that it's doing the talking
When his uncle was giving him a free ride in the team and his average couldn't get pass 7 his bat shoulda do de talking... It's not too late though he got the potential
In reply to anthonyp
A little excessive is a kind description but at least he converted his 50
In reply to anthonyp
Like the bat now got mouth
Hes 25
He better stay focused and humble
In reply to Chrissy
Yes. Perez should have made an easy ton too.
In reply to Raskil
It's about time... GCB investing a lot on him. Akshaya enjoying a free PCL contract for the past three years and getting around USD 1500-2000 per month. Guys like Savory don't have that luxury.
doosie
Adams had to go on lunch strike
26 overs 4 wickets
In reply to Raskil
dat man does eat all kayman sankar rice
In reply to anthonyp
it's about time he repay some of that investment
In reply to anthonyp
he on a B contract?
Savory def getting his this year
In reply to anthonyp
Thats why Sarwans decisions are very important.
In reply to anthonyp
Akshaya only deserved his spot when he first made the team back in 2017 or so. Back then, the guy was scoring a lot of runs locally but since then he has been a huge disappointment compounded by that one Super 50 match where he made 29 off 60 or so balls killing the innings.
In reply to doosra
Them guys locally musse really fed up of him by now. I remember one of them guys from CI in 2018 saying he wasn't all that lol
In reply to Windies2017
he is talented no doubt in my eyes but he was just getting a free pass...he has to earn it now
rain pelting down less than 1 mile away...
In reply to doosra
Damn!
In reply to Chrissy
this done....for today at least
more rain pelting down
In reply to anthonyp
Man mek runs at Bourda and acting like he scored a double hundred in Australia lol
In reply to anthonyp
His best before date was pre-covid.
In reply to WIfan26
Bourda was dah ground fah many years before Providence tek over. Many of dah world's great mek ton deh,,, The famous Greg Chappell mek a retiring ton deh as well. Sah they young-man earned him right to celebrate.

In reply to doosra
Its either a B or C contract he is on... Dem fellas seh he is collecting around 280k GYD per month. Guys like Junior, Anderson, Nandu and Savory without.
Under Sanasie they used to get a lil academy contract (around 70k)... but the new GCB cut that out. Players without contracts got to find their own way to survive and attend training.
In reply to WIfan26
Against an attack that didn't include Beaton, Keemo and Anthony Adams
It's his highest score at this level... Doubt he got more than three tons at the first division level
In reply to anthonyp
that is insane...i hope Anderson, Jr, Nandu and Joseph get in some level...of course Savory
In reply to doosra
Motie and Tage will most likely get CWI contracts... So hopefully Nandu, Savory and Shamar fall in.
Sanasie had his ways, but that academy setup was good for Guyana cricket... He used the savings from the PCL contracts to pay the academy players... Every day they used to turn up and train with the coaches.
These days players who aren't contracted gotta train on their own... or they could turn up whenever the national team is training, of course they gotta stand their own expense...
In reply to anthonyp
damn we could actually find positives for Sanasie compared to now...
hopefully they go back to that...that academy training is partly the reason we have the youngsters coming thru i think but you know more than me on this
i know you always used to say how demman training day and night
that would be good because more to spend on locals...Hety nah tek money either?
