ONE of Guyanas and West Indies most illustrious batsman, Alvin Kallicharran, or Kalli, as he is familiarly known, a former captain and batting maestro, will be celebrating his 74th birth anniversary on March 21, 2023, in a most memorable manner.
Kallicharran will be returning to Port Mourant, Berbice, his birthplace, and ground for his eventual career as one of the most outstanding batsmen Guyana and the West Indies have ever produced, for the official launching of an illustrated childrens storybook celebrating his cricketing journey.
