What about Odean Smith?
He cannot bat, cannot bowl.

What about Odean Smith?

That does not answer the statement about Brookls and is in fact a tacit admission that you are unable to defend Brooks.

Why would I defend Books today?
Doc, Oval and I was writing about Brooks since his U19 days.
I would be repeating my self if I commented on him.
I see absolutely nothing in Smith, neither of them should be on any International team.

Agreed. Neither of them. They bring no value to the team.

you're right....odean is awful.....plays like he has a red bean between his ears. He's not even trying to have a strategy when he's bowling. but that does not make brooks worthy of his place. both need to go

Odean is strictly a T20 player at this stage. His skillset, and lack of, says so. The blame for his inclusion in this form of the game should rest with the Selectors. Not Odean. He was called to perform.

Brooks, on the other hand, is a disappointment.

homie odean does not even have a standout T20 performance. not saying he's talentless, but clearly he aint ready yet. it could be the dre rus comparisons are weighing on him, but he should realize he is nowhere near andre russell as yet

It answers the statement if it is addressing "quota" reference. With so much mediocrity around wi cricket I dont know why such language is necessary

how could Brooks, a bajan, be a quota pick, when Bim has for the most part provided a majority of WI players?

if anything, Brooks continued a trend

if Brooks came from anywhere but Bim, Guy or Ja and given his returns, yes, whether he could be considered a quota pick would be a legitimate question?

why should any Bajan (besides the bajan selectors) have to defend Brooks' selection?
