Hes into the Top 100s and into his first Masters Quarter Finals. All that hard work and self-belief is finally paying off.
He now awaits the winner of the Halys- Medvedev match.

I just saw last night's highlights....Tommy Paul played well enuff to have beaten anyone, except Carlos to raass.
The yute is really something serious. Them other players better chip in and buy him a first class ticket back to Mars.

Hear nah. The athleticism, not to mention tennis IQ of Carlos Alcaraz is OFF THE CHARTS!
We used to marvel at Djoka sliding on hard court. Carlos has taken that to a whole other level.
Sliding, offf the court, AND hitting forehand winners while doing so. That aint right bruh.
And yes
.Tommy Paul playing at a level where he likely could have beaten anyone else in that match.
One commentator was asked if there was any area of Carlos game that could improve and he said his serve.
He doesnt have an unreturnable serve. And thats technically true. He also said thats preventing him from being the best he can be. I immediately thought that Rafa didnt have an unreturnable serve. Neither does Djoka. Doesnt prevent them from being greats of the game.
As it is, Carlos 2nd serve kicker to the right handers backhand is difficult enough
Alcaraz is a phenom and that is something in a world which has produced a string of phenoms in Federer, Nadal and Djoka.
