Form and cricket and mindset and mental space. Such a delicate balance.

Good finish

Should've been 15 to 20 runs more, but can't argue with 233

Runs Truck Chris Jordan at it.

out Caught by Joshua Little!! In the air and taken! 143.5kph, Rohit perishes playing the pull shot - one of his pet shots. Looks to play the pull shot off the front foot to an in-angler from a short of length and the ball goes up a long way in the air off the top-edge. Little comes in from fine leg, settles under the skier and completes the catch. Rohit c Joshua Little b Shami 8(7) lol

Rashid Khan to Tilak Varma, out Bowled!! Rashid Khan breaks the partnership! 95.8kph, Tilak Varma gets down to sweep hard and misses this legbreak altogether. Past the inside edge and it crashes into the stumps. Tilak looked in great touch but he's perished to the star leggie.

Tilak Varma b Rashid Khan 43(14) [4s-5 6s-3]

Joshua Little to Green, out Bowled!! Knocked over!! Big moment in the game. This was a length ball at the stumps, skids through and keeps a tad low. Goes under the bat as Cam Green tried a cross batted shot and the ball then clips the top of leg stump.

Green b Joshua Little 30(20) [4s-2 6s-2]

"It's windy and pouring," says Aayush. "Some lightning and thunder as well. Chants of 'Dhoni, Dhoni' aren't stopping however.

The waiting game....it had to end at some point, ain't it? At around 9:15 PM, rain eased off and offered hopes of having a shortened affair at least, but, alas, wasn't to be. It was shockingly brief, that ray of hope! Round 2 tomorrow, then! Let's do it all again and hopefully it will be cricket and only cricket we will be talking about. See you all in less than 24 hours

22:54 Local Time, 17:24 GMT, 22:54 IST:-
the game has been postponed for tomorrow.
