Junior was on the field... If you check the team photo from the first match he wasn't in it... Wasn't with the team for the second match either.

They had meet and greet yesterday and he wasn't around... I asked one of de loyal fans that's close to the team and he confirmed that he's not with the squad anymore.

I heard some very disturbing details as to why he is no longer with GAW.It is very distressing.

What is the strategy for tonight?

Win the toss and field? I say yes to that.

Changes in the team?

a. Bring in Junior Sinclair in place of Nandu.
b. Move Azam to open with Ayub
c. Move Hetty to number 3, Hope at 4.
d. If Odean plays, get him in earlier to have some batting practice.


For tonight's game, winning is not the ultimate goal but building the team for the payoff is the goal. Winning will be bonus, if that happens.

Regardless of the reason, I am disappointed that he is not around the set up anymore.
I hope it is sorted out soon. Much is at stake for him and the many people he cares

Clive Lloyd was very upset he was left out of the WI touring party that went to England in 1966 after he had scored 107 vs Barbados at the Mecca and then 194 at Sabina Park. He became even more upset when he found out that the Bajan selector had told the Guyanese selector that he would only vote for Lloyd if the GT bannah voted for Bynoe.The Guyanese selector refused and neither went to England in 1966.
When Lloyd was selected to tour India in late 1966 Worrell who was in India pulled Lloyd aside and told him that he was not selected because they did not want him to go to England and find the conditions so different from the Caribbean causing him to struggle as it would dent his confidence. Worrell also told him to put that situation behind him and focus on doing well in India.
Today we do not have those kind of common sense leaders who can empathize with players and show them some compassion, grace and understanding. Kevin Sinclair after a stand out year must have been terribly disappointed to not get a single game in this year's CPL. Management should have been talking to him and encouraging him to be patient as now that the 5 games that needed to be played by the Developmental Players is out of the way Kevin would be selected for the last two games and be in contention for the Finals if GAW make it to that game.
Alas when our Leaders lack vision, the people will perish.

Think they drafted Kevin for 5k or less... Don't know if CPL works like IPL with players having to play a certain amount of matches to get the full amount.

Maybe he thinks that d team won't make it to de final? So not much to draw down

Griffith is a lucky chap... De man used to be Guyana coach/manager/cheif selector... Now he is head coach of GAW... His good partner Hercules is the assistant coach.

Klusener is a consultant... GAW got it all

This follows on the heels of Sheppy being a vice-captain in name only. My eyes might not be the best but I can't recall seeing him in any onfield consultations in the 9 games GAW has played so far. Can't quite blame Tahir. He is an installed captain!

Not sure how serious Keemo injury is but they shouldn't risk him tonight.

Pestano was one of the standout players for Everest in the GCA t20 that finished last week... Not a bad replacement.

For tonight match Beaton comes in for Keemo and Junior needs to bowl a few overs upfront. They could consider giving Anderson a knock too.

Keemo should not play till the final if they get there if not fully fit

I think they are too predictable with the all pace in power play phase...mix that up a bit...get Jr. to bowl...this was Kevin's own niche
