HEADLINE: T20 World Cup Co-hosts, West Indies to play group matches in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and Saint Lucia

The pinnacle ICC men’s T20 event will see a record 20 teams divided into four groups competing across 55 games for the right to be crowned ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Champions 2024, including co-hosts the West Indies and the USA, together with the other qualifiers: Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, England, India, Ireland, Namibia, Nepal, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea (PNG), Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Uganda.
The 20 teams have been divided into four groups of five, with the top two teams progressing to the Super Eights:
Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the USA
Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland and Oman
Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda and Papua New Guinea

They put WI in the easiest group I guess to give them a chance to go deep into the WC which is good for crowd support. The only real challenge we will have is New Zealand and that we can handle

West Indies had better do well or this WC won't bring out the crowds in the islands.

Afghanistan is a walk over? Guess you didn't follow the last World Cup. Plus they will be playing us in spin friendly conditions...

Not by any means a walk over but definitely not in the category of Australia, India, Pakistan, England, South Africa etc. I will feel much more comfortable playing them than any of the above mentioned teams
