My eldest brother and dear friend passed away and I am now dealing with the emotional burden of preparing a eulogy for him after recently giving one for his son.
I’d welcome your thoughts and prayers, as I try to cope during another sad period for the family.

I heard a similar story about a Jamaican parent who went to the US for their son's funeral and as soon as the parents returned home to Jamaica the dad passed away.

A broken heart can take a life bro. that's why in times of sorrow we need to open up and lean on others.

I have the deepest sympathy and not just sympathy but also empathy because I lost my wife of 57and a half years 6 months ago and I know the agony of loss of loved ones ....stay strong but be prepared to hurt for a long time..
I got a lot of support on this site and I am sure you will also...
Support of other relatives and friends helps a lot and grief counseling services via church etc may be available...
